Craniotomy, craniectomy Interventions: Keep ICP less than 20, normal is 10-15 TBI: damage to brain from external force, not a neurodegenerative or congenital 2 types primary vs secondary (think pts at regional one after car accidents) SUBDURAL HEMATOMA Venous bleeding into space beneath dura and above arachnoid -tearing of bridging veins within cerebral hemispheres Bleeding occurs more slowly than from an epidural hematoma
