of the Quran …....

The economic system described in Al-Quran e Kareem is very
clear.There are many verses about the economic system of Islam.I
understood these verses easily.
Surah Al-Baqrah ,Verse # 3
ِ ‫ٱ َّلذِينَ ُيْؤ ِم ُنونَ ِبٱ ْل َغ ْي‬
٣ َ‫ٱلص َل ٰو َة َو ِم َّما َر َز ْق َن ٰـ ُه ْم ُينفِقُون‬
َ‫ب َو ُيقِي ُمون‬
َّ
Translation:
who believe in the Divine Message( Wahi) , establish system, and
spend wealth excess from what We have provided for them,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Surah Al-Baqrah , Verse # 215
‫يل ۗ َو َما‬
َ ‫َي ْسـَٔلُو َن َك َم َاذا ُينفِقُونَ ۖ قُلْ َمٓا َأن َف ْق ُتم ِّمنْ َخ ْي ۢ ٍر َفلِ ْل ٰ َولِدَ ْي ِن َوٱَأْل ْق َر ِبينَ َوٱ ْل َي َت ٰـ َم ٰى َوٱ ْل َم‬
َّ ‫ِين َوٱ ْب ِن‬
ِ ‫ٱلس ِب‬
ِ ‫س ٰـك‬
۟ ُ‫َت ْف َعل‬
٢١٥ ‫وا مِنْ َخ ْي ۢ ٍر َفِإنَّ ٱهَّلل َ ِبهِۦ َعلِي ۭ ٌم‬
Translation:
They ask you ˹O Prophet in˺ what ˹way˺ they should spend wealth ?.
Say, “Whatever wealth you give are for parents,close relatives,
orphans, the poor, and ˹needy˺ people. Whatever good you do is
certainly well known to Allah.”

Surah Al-Baqrah ,Verse # 254
۟ ُ‫َي ٰـَٓأ ُّي َها ٱ َّلذِينَ َءا َم ُن ٓو ۟ا َأنفِق‬
َ ‫وا ِم َّما َر َز ْق َن ٰـ ُكم ِّمن َق ْب ِل َأن َيْأت َِى َي ْو ۭ ٌم اَّل َب ْي ۭ ٌع فِي ِه َواَل ُخ َّل ۭ ٌة َواَل‬
‫ش َف ٰـ َع ۭ ٌة ۗ َوٱ ْل َك ٰـفِ ُرونَ ُه ُم‬
َّ
. َ‫ٱلظ ٰـلِ ُمون‬
Translation:
O believers! Spend from what We have provided for you before the
arrival of the Day of judgment when there will be no bargaining,1
friendship,2 or intercession. Those who disbelieve are ˹truly˺ the
wrongdoers.

Surah Al-Baqrah Verse # 261
‫ِف‬
ُ ِّ ‫ابل َ فِى ُكل‬
َ ‫س ْب َع‬
َ ‫يل ٱهَّلل ِ َك َم َث ِل َح َّب ٍة َأ ۢن َب َت ْت‬
َ ‫َّم َثل ُ ٱ َّلذِينَ ُينفِقُونَ َأ ْم ٰ َو َل ُه ْم فِى‬
ُ ‫ض ٰـع‬
َ ‫س ۢن ُب َل ۢ ٍة ِّم ۟اَئ ُة َح َّب ۢ ٍة ۗ َوٱهَّلل ُ ُي‬
ِ ‫س ِب‬
ِ ‫س َن‬
َ ‫لِ َمن َي‬
‫شٓا ُء ۗ َوٱهَّلل ُ ٰ َوسِ ٌع َعلِي ٌم‬
Translation:
The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah (to
help needy people and welfare deeds) is that of a grain that sprouts
into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah
multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is
All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.

Surah Al-Baqrah Verse # 262
۟ ُ‫يل ٱهَّلل ِ ُث َّم اَل ُي ْت ِب ُعونَ َمٓا َأن َفق‬
‫ف‬
ٌ ‫وا َم ۭ ًّنا َوٓاَل َأ ۭ ًذى ۙ َّل ُه ْم َأ ْج ُر ُه ْم عِ ندَ َر ِّب ِه ْم َواَل َخ ْو‬
َ ‫ٱ َّلذِينَ ُينفِقُونَ َأ ْم ٰ َو َل ُه ْم فِى‬
ِ ‫س ِب‬
. َ‫َع َل ْي ِه ْم َواَل ُه ْم َي ْح َز ُنون‬
Translation:
Those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah (for needy people
and welfare deeds ) and do not follow their charity with reminders of
their generosity or hurtful words—they will get their reward from their
Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
Surah Aal-e-Imran ,Verse # 92
Translation:
۟ ُ‫وا ِم َّما ُت ِح ُّبونَ ۚ َو َما ُتنفِق‬
۟ ُ‫وا ٱ ْل ِب َّر َح َّت ٰى ُتنفِق‬
۟ ُ‫َلن َت َنال‬
َ ‫وا مِن‬
‫ش ْى ۢ ٍء َفِإنَّ ٱهَّلل َ ِبهِۦ َعلِي ۭ ٌم‬
You will never achieve righteousness until you spend some of what
you cherish. And whatever you give is certainly well known to Allah.
Surah Al-Anfaal ,Verse # 41
َ ‫ٱع َل ُم ٓو ۟ا َأ َّن َما َغن ِْم ُتم ِّمن‬
۞ ‫يل‬
َ ‫ول َولِذِى ٱ ْلقُ ْر َب ٰى َوٱ ْل َي َت ٰـ َم ٰى َوٱ ْل َم‬
َّ ‫ِين َوٱ ْب ِن‬
ُ ‫ِلر‬
َّ ‫س ُهۥ َول‬
ْ ‫َو‬
َ ‫ش ْى ۢ ٍء َفَأنَّ هَّلِل ِ ُخ ُم‬
ِ ‫ٱلس ِب‬
ِ ‫س‬
ِ ‫س ٰـك‬
َ ِّ ‫ان ۗ َوٱهَّلل ُ َع َل ٰى ُكل‬
َ ‫ِإن ُكن ُت ْم َءا َمن ُتم ِبٱهَّلل ِ َو َمٓا َأ‬
٤١ ‫ش ْى ۢ ٍء َقدِي ٌر‬
ِ ‫ان َي ْو َم ٱ ْل َت َقى ٱ ْل َج ْم َع‬
ِ ‫نز ْل َنا َع َل ٰى َع ْب ِد َنا َي ْو َم ٱ ْلفُ ْر َق‬
Translation:
Know that whatever you earn, one-fifth is for Allah and the Messenger
i.e poor close relatives, orphans, the poors, and ˹needy˺ people, if you
˹truly˺ believe in Allah and what We revealed to Our Prophet(Abd) on
that decisive day when the two armies met ˹the day of Conquest’. And
Allah is Most Capable of everything.

There is a clear cut indication to spend at least 20% of our income for
needy people as per listed.
