Methodology refers to the tools, techniques, and procedures utilized to collect, analyze, and

While preparing this document, we used references from the internet, blogs, and other
resources to create this compiled report with the general aspect of viewing the big
organization to get a general view of the report together. We take an interview with the
company’s manager for gathering information in terms of this report and establish the goals
and tackle the internal and external variables as well as management challenges, which is
particularly significant in making this report the source of information for this big
organization. We, as a group, created this report using this source and the tools available to
us, to highlight the difficulties and try to fix them with futuristic aims.
Limitations
While discussing restrictions, the report we produced also included restrictions while
maintaining our objective. Gazi Group is a big company that has many sister companies. This
is not a limited company. For this reason, when we interview Gazi Group’s manager, he did
not agree to give us their annual financial statement. As a result, we are unable to add the
financial statement to the executive summary.

One of the most well-known firms in the nation, Gazi Group has a long history in the
manufacturing, trading, distribution, ICT, communication, real estate, banking, insurance,
and media industries. For the past 35 years, the Gazi Group and its Strategic Business Units
have operated profitably. The Gazi Group was founded in 1974. This group is one of
Bangladesh's top commercial organizations in the rubber and plastic industries. The founder
of this company is Mr. Golam Dastagir Gazi. His purpose in building this company is not
only for profit but also for the progression of the nation and for serving the nation. (gazi.com)
Gazi Group is not a limited company. That’s why it has many sister companies. It has a wide
variety of products such as pumps & motors, tires, doors, tanks, sinks, rubbers, plastics, fittings,
tube well, toys, gas stoves, and thread tape. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a selfpolicing business model that aids an organization in being socially accountable to its
stakeholders, the public, and itself. The Gazi Group aspires to serve as a role model for
individuals who interact with its business segments. The Gazi Group’s CSR program aims to
benefit the environment, partners, stakeholders, society, and the workforce.

organization. So, they should not be ignored while making any kind of move. Gazi Group is

Strategy: The company wants to reduce waste and produce more. To execute this objective,
they will be putting more focus on creative planning and ideas. They will arrange seminars to

less wastage, strict monitoring will be enforced.

Leading CSR Company
Gazi group aims to be the leading CSR company in the world within the next decade.
Strategy: CSR should be given more importance as a strategy (corporate social responsibility)
Regardless of the size or industry, businesses are nothing without their customers. As a result,
businesses should place a high value on their customers' happiness. With satisfied customers,
a business may grow quickly and easily. There are a lot of CSR activities going on such as
primary and secondary education, women empowerment, rural education, skill development
training, girl child education, special care programs for underprivileged children, tree
plantation, safe drinking, and water projects, sports and academy, renewable energy and
recyclable products and association with NGOs for proper sanitation and basic hygiene. While
the Corona terror horrified and outraged the entire nation of Bangladesh, the Gazi group
stepped up because of its humanitarian principles and entered the conflict. As a result of our
sense of responsibility, they have distributed PPE and other essential medical supplies to
numerous hospitals across the nation. To facilitate the corona testing system, they have also
established the first private PCR lab in the nation. They believe it is our major duty to inform

the public of the current Covid-19 situation and to broadcast various pieces of information to
raise Covid-19 awareness. As a result, they continuously produce digital content and provide
daily updates about Covid-19 to raise awareness.

Gazi group needs to diversify its workforce by 10% within 2023.
Businesses that develop, innovate, and improve their efficiency can profit from a diverse
workforce. When a corporation diversifies its personnel, it creates more money. By recruiting

Since the Gazi group believes that to expand swiftly, they must define a deadline as soon as

Once they have this knowledge, they may design new strategies for expanding their
market share and reaching out to additional potential clients. "Innovation" is the most
successful strategy a business can employ to expand its market share. Through innovation, a

Gazi Group will invest a huge amount of total assets so people can engage with Gazi Group’s
products and, following this strategy, Gazi Group can compete not only with local
competitors in Bangladesh but also with other international competitors.

Gazi group will decrease the profit rate by 5% and improve the quality of the product.
As countries' economic conditions are going down, the Gazi group will reduce the profit
rate by minimizing the cost. This will give them a competitive advantage over their
competitors and enhance their brand value. Besides that, they will study and research
their products to improve product quality and acquire customer satisfaction.
Management issues
For the administrators, this is yet another amicable disagreement, and in certain cases, when
working, directors must consider many different circumstances. The task of conducting the
test in a cool environment and learning the questions was allocated to the management
divisions. The needs must be aware of the unnecessary items and keep a safe distance from
them. The management offices of the Gazi group deal with challenging situations and try to

power is decentralized. Every department has been assigned, qualified managers. As the
organization follows democratic leadership so every decision is taken after proper discussion.
So, for the overall betterment of the firm, they have made their organization structure

etc. So, product wise they have created many sister concern groups named “Gazi Tyres”,
“Gazi Doors”, “Gazi Pumps and Motors” etc. This seems like the company must be following
product-wise departmentation but actually, they are following Functional departmentation.
Functional departmentation means grouping jobs according to their functions such as HR
department, Research & Development department, etc. Here the focus of the functional

Gazi Group follows a functional departmentation system. Here product wise group is a sister
concern but in general, every group has an accounting & finance dept, HR dept, etc in

insurance, and media sectors. They also engage in a lot of CSR initiatives. They also have
regard for their staff. To assure privileged situations, the Gazi Group is committed to using
proactivity, effective communication, integrity, and excitement. The goal of the Gazi Group is
to exceed customers' expectations by offering fresh value in addition to satisfying their needs.

The operations of the Gazi Group will continue concurrently with its activities. The company
becomes more responsible and mature toward the nation in which it operates. Additionally,
they must continue to fulfill their long-standing administrative duties. They must recognize
their strengths and seize chances to maintain planning that is in line with market demand and
its reactions. They should think about competing in the lower echelons of the market. The
Gazi group should pursue economies of scale to reduce manufacturing costs per unit.
Utilizing all of the resources available to create things should be a bigger part of
manufacturing preparation.
Conclusion
The Gazi group has been working to improve the lives of resented professionals and mistreated
ordinary people by re-establishing and fostering their skills and craftsmanship from the very
