Member Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) – Civil/28248
Design Engineer (Infrastructure) with more than 14 years of professional experience in the field of design and construction of
infrastructure development projects. Well-versed with international standards like AASHTO-LRFD, West Pakistan Highway
codes, and AISC & ACI codes.
RESEARCH SKILLS
I am confident in the areas of dynamic analysis of bridges and high-rise buildings. My M.Sc. research work is composed of
analyzing and comparing the live load effects caused by different vehicles/Trucks specified in the aforementioned codes against a
number of lanes and span length. The research included a comparison and deep study of several parameters essential to be
considered for designing and analyzing highway bridges. As a member of the Structural evaluation team; conducted site visits in
earthquake-affected areas in 2005 including five districts of KP and AJK. Based on data collected from the site, the future fate of a
particular structure is decided; whether it should be repaired, retrofitted, or abandoned. The field observations and
recommendations were compiled in the form of a comprehensive report. Various types of buildings were investigated including
educational, health, agriculture, and governance buildings.
Designing Skills
Seismic analysis of bridges and high-rise buildings.
Finite Element Modeling.
