AREZZO Arezzo is one of the most ancient city in Tuscany, it certainly has a lot to offer to who visit it! Although part of the medieval city was destroyed during the Second World War, the center of Arezzo preserves splendid monuments, churches, palaces and museums. The most important monuments of the city are The San Francesco’s church, in this church you can find a Piero della Francesca’s cycle of frescoes. And then the Medicean Fortress, the Roman Amphitheater. The most famous and populated square is Piazza Grande where twice a year all the Arezzo’s citizens gather to watch Giostra del Saracino, one of the most important event of the city. But in Arezzo there are also a lot of shops and resteraunts, the cook here is so homemade and rustic, if you caome to Arezoo you can’t not try the “crostini neri” or the “fegatelli” or the “bistecca con l’acciugata”. If you’re in Arezzo and you’re looking for some good shops I advise you to go to the city centre, there there are all kinds of shops (clothing, furniture, jewelry and more…). PIAZZA GRANDE PIAZZA GRANDE IS A SQUARE VERY POPULATED HERE YOU CAN FIND HISTORIC MONUMENTS AND PLACES BUT ALSO VERY GOOD RESTAURANTS UNDER THE SQUARE’S LODGES IL DUOMO IL DUOMO IS THE CATHEDRAL OF AREZZO, TO ARRIVE THERE YOU HAVE TO WALK A CLIMB BUT IT WORTH IT, TRUST ME! INSIDE THE CATHEDRAL YOU CAN FIND PICTURES, MONUMENTS AND MORE. IF YOU LOVE THE GOTHIC ART, YOU CAN’T NOT VISIT IT. GRIFI IN AREZZO THERE A LOT OF TYPICAL DISHES BUT THE MOST FAMOUS ARE "GRIFI". THEESE ARE A TRADITIONAL DISH WHO WAS EATEN FROM THE FARMERS.
