BOOK TRAILER
(“The Philippines in the 19th Century as Rizal’s Context”)
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
BOOK TRAILER is a digital storytelling activity, doing the book trailer project requires students to
summarize, synthesize and analyze the book and put that analysis in their trailer. This book trailer will
focus on “The Philippines in the 19th Century as Rizal’s Context”
1. The student will make a book trailer that will show how the economic, social and political
context of the Philippines in 19th century influenced the life and works of our national hero Dr.
Jose Rizal.
2. The book trailer must be informative at the same time creative, so that it can hook/attract the
attention of the viewers.
•
Imagery – Students must use creativity on utilization of photos and short video clips.
•
Audio – Music can be the ingredient that helps set the tone on your book trailer. Aside
from background music, student may include voiceover on their book trailer.
3. The book trailer should range around 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Students are allowed to use any kind of video editing platform. The video must be in landscape
mode and should be at least 480p.
5. Book trailer must be done by group with 5-8 members.

7. Output will be graded based on the following criteria.
