Bake and Take Sweet Treats is a starting home-based bakeshop in the City of Ilagan.
From its brand name it offers a freshly baked products, after we bake then customers will take. It
serves great-tasting cakes on tub, breads and pastries, bringing the consumers a joy and
happiness with the bite of our products. It makes the moment sweeter to people of all ages. The
targeted market of Bake and Take Sweet Treats are the residents in the City of Ilagan, Isabela
especially to consumers who loves pastry products. Bake and Take Sweet Treats will be located
in the City of Ilagan but will be operated entirely using online platforms. It aims to become one
of the biggest and fastest growing bakeshops in the region and even in the entire country as well.
To be able to come up with the great tasting product, Bake and Take Sweet Treats will
make sure that the products has a quality and unique taste that will bring happiness to every
customer. Children, adult and even old ages can be the target market of the products since we are
all familiar with pastries, cakes and breads.

Bake & Take Sweet Treats offers freshly-baked and delicious pastry products with its
affordable price. Awareness of high quality baked goods is continuing to rise. Good pastry
products are a combination of nutrition, convenience, and luxury. Today's consumer has less
time to create wholesome, handmade bread, but increasingly appreciates the nutritional and
sensory benefits it provides. Good bread provides fiber and carbohydrates in a convenient, low
fat form that is portable and delicious. Good bread has never goes out of style. The demand on
this industry is continuing to rise and the consumers today prefer to buy freshly baked products
than purchasing what is already in the store. Thus, Bake and Take Sweet Treats will offer and
sell a variety of high quality, delicious, freshly bake and homemade pastry products.
Bake & Take Sweet Treats is in the start-up phase of business. It is a form of business
which deals with the reselling of homemade and freshly bake pastry products to meet the
increasing demand of the consumer. We believe that with the help of our products, we can meet
the satisfaction of consumers since we offer a delicious and nutritious pastry products.
It is located at the City of Ilagan, Isabela but doesn’t have a physical store at this moment
due to the government protocols. Our store will be operated online via websites particularly in
Facebook. The customers will just transact with us on our Facebook page and they can also call
to our available contact numbers for faster transaction. We will also offer our products by
posting it on our Facebook page. We will have an allotted time to collect orders then will have a
cut off for the preparation of baking and packing the products. After that we can deliver our
products to our customers. We will provide a payment method such as cash on delivery and
online payment like Gcash. The organization will start its business from online form then it will
expand to physical store in the future.
We chose this industry because it is profitable and can benefit the community as well.
This industry is easy to enter as long as you have passion in baking. But there are a lot of
competitors in the industry so the entrepreneurs will think if they will put up their business in
industry. There are advantages of our business among these competitors because we are only

offering homemade freshly-baked goods and it doesn’t need a lot of resources unlike to
commercial bakeshop. The major competitor that we really compete is the Julie’s Bakeshop
which is popular in the industry.

Bread is a one of the favorite food of the Filipinos. In fact, it is the country's second most
popular food behind rice. As a result, starting a bakery business in the Philippines is one of the
most profitable investments we can do. The demand of people is increasing as well at a good rate
and existing companies in the bakery industry are getting popular. Due to its affordable cost,
people are more likely to buy bread from bakeries. Especially this time, most of customers prefer
to buy homemade pastry products because they can assure that it is freshly-baked breads.
Since our target customers are familiar with the bread and its merits it is more liable to
increase in market. Hence, our target market is in growing stage. We think at this rate, the
popularity and the use of bakery products will increase. As initial target market we will serve the
customers especially in City of Ilagan, Isabela where we will sell our pastry products. Then we
will proceed to large organizations, malls and stores after getting publicity. After covering our
initial target market, we are likely to attract the customers outside Ilagan Isabela especially to
those citizens who want to taste our homemade products. Besides we are planning to expand our
firm that deals with the whole Region II as well and projecting to have different branches in the
region after getting publicity.
The location of the company is in City of lagan, Isabela which shares major part of
population. Since it is the capital of Isabela, most of the people are familiar on the taste of bakery
products. This location shares major targeted customers which will be beneficial for our service.
Targeted customers have a prior knowledge about what we will sell because we all know that
breads become part of our daily lives. Since this type of business is in developing and
progressive stage, Bake and Take Sweet Treats will catch the present trend customizing what the
customers’ needs and demand.
As pandemic started, we are mandated to stay at home and this leads the people to spend
most of their time in social media platforms and online shopping apps become popular. People
are mostly do shopping and purchasing products online rather than going to physical store. Thus,
we will promote and operate our business through the use of social media platforms and internet.
Also, when pandemic started since we are prohibited to go outside people are more likely to buy
sweet treats for their family and to satisfy themselves on their cravings. They enjoyed purchasing
online because it is less hassle for them. We are offering for them a freshly-baked homemade
sweet treats that can really satisfy them.

Pastries and breads are enjoyed by people in all age; thus, they will be included in the target
market. Pastries and breads are a low-cost commodity that can be purchased by almost anyone,
regardless of money, which broadens the target market. Our business will be able to meet the
needs and demands of a wide range of customers to a variety of product alternatives, convenient
services, and a large target market.
Realizing all of these market problems and needs of customers, starting a home-based
bakery that offers a nutritious and delicious freshly-baked pastries and breads is a good business.

Bake and Take Sweet Treats aims to be a financially profitable and sustainable
organization. To achieve this objective, we will be using different forms of media to form a
public relation with our target customers and to promote our business. To attract such customers,
we will engage in advertisement campaigns which will conclude how delicious our product will
be, campaigns which will explain the health benefits of our product and what products and
services we offer. We are planning to use the following:
• Online advertisement
- Since our target customers are likely to use and spend most of their time in internet, Bake and
Take Sweet Treats will use different social media platforms as a main tool to advertise our
product. We will be posting photos and media of our product for them to be aware on the
products and services we offer. We will make our own website and Facebook page to
communicate with our customers.
• Offline advertisement
- Even though we are mainly focused on online platforms in promoting our company, we will be
using offline advertisement as well because there are people who can’t access to internet. So, for
them to be aware on our product and service we will connect with them with the use of offline
advertisements such as brochures, flyers, and stickers/calling cards.
- Our company will be publishing brochures including all the products and services of the
company. The menu of our company will be included in the brochures. A strong brochure will
be a backbone towards our customers and it will reflect the positive feedbacks from customers to
our company. So, we are planning to invest enough capital for this advertisement material. We
can use DIY brochure but will assure that it will become attractive to the customers.
-To increase our market, we can use calling cards and stickers which will be distributed to the
customers. It will include our websites like facebook page and our contact numbers for faster
transaction of their order. In case that they will want to recommend our products then, it will be a
great tool for them to remember our business by just checking the calling cards and stickers we
distributed to them.
- Also, we can conduct an onsite distribution of flyers to the community where our target market
lived but following the protocols implemented by government

marketing and promotions of their product. Since, they are already in the industry so it is clear

From a homemaker’s hobby to a now professionally-run business which offers
dedication cakes, round cakes with different flavors, rolls, sweet pastries, mamons, and
savory pastries. They are available for pick-up, walk in and delivery service. It is one of
the most popular bakeshop in the country. They offer an already bake cakes, sweets and
pastries when you go to their store. Their sweet treats and pastries are already packed
except for dedication cakes.
 Bake and Take offers a cupcake which is freshly baked so it is assured that it is
fresh from oven. We offer freebies and discounts unlike to Red Ribbon. It is a
commercial bakeshop but our business is home-based. We offer cakes on tubs so
for those who can’t afford to buy a dedication cake they can purchase our cake on
tub.
 Mrs. G
It is North Luzon’s favorite cakeshop. It is one of the fastest growing bakeshop chains in
the country that serves great-tasting cakes, breads and pastries. It is very popular in the
City of Ilagan, Isabela and it boost their sales when it comes with holiday seasons,
Valentine’s and Birthdays. In Ilagan Branch, they didn’t offer a delivery services so the
customers will go to their physical store which is located in the Robinson-Ilagan.
 We offer a cake on tub which can also a customized depending on what the
customer want to indicate in the cake. We can satisfy their cravings by
purchasing on our cake on tubs.
 Julie's Bakeshop
It has been baking delicious and affordable breads for Filipinos for almost four decades.
It has already a franchise and branches in the Philippines and abroad.It is one of the most
popular bakeshop in the country. The Julies Bakesho- Ilagan Branch was located in the
Ilagan Public Market near City Mall. It is a commercial bakeshop that has physical store
and only available for walk-in customers. They offer an already baked pastries and breads
when you buy to their shop.

 In Bake and Take Sweet Treats we offer a homemade freshly-baked pastries and
breads. We assure that we deliver fresh and delicious products. We offer a
delivery for our customers so, even though they are at their house they can satisfy
their cravings with the help of our products and services.
 Hi-Five Bakeshop
Hi-Five Bakeshop was located at Calamagui 2nd, City of Ilagan, Isabela. They offer a
different variety of breads. They operated for almost how many years so they have
already a large population of customers. They have their physical store available for walk
in and take-out. But, they don’t have their online websites and didn’t offer a delivery.
 We are just in starting phase so we didn’t have a lot of customers like them. But
we have an online platform to boost our business which will serve as advantages
for us.
 Mei-Mei Bakery
It was located in the Cntro Poblacion, City of Ilagan, Isabela. They serve the community for
a decade and these shows that they have already a lot of valued customers. They provide a
different kind of pastry and breads. It is open for online platform and walk-in customers.
They offer breads for breakfast and merienda sweet treats. It is located in the Centro so it has
a lot of target customer.
 It is difficult to compete with this because it is popular but in Bake and Take
Sweet Treats we don’t just offer delicious sweet treats but we offer a home-made
products so we can assure that it is a freshly baked from oven. The price in the
store is fixed so it means they didn’t offer discounts to their valued customers but
in Bake and Take we offer discounts to our customers.

VII. PRODUCTS & SERVICES DESCRIPTION
Bread is one of the favourite foods of Filipinos. It becomes part of our daily lives. The
demand of people is increasing. So when pandemic began, we are prohibited to go outside so
people likes to order online. The demand on homemade pastry products increased. After we
noticed that market problems and need, we proposed our business which can help the customers
to satisfy their cravings and demands.
Bake & Take Sweet Treats offers freshly-baked and delicious pastry products with its
affordable price. The products that will be offered are yema cakes on tub, ube cake on tub, choco
moist cake on tub, puto, kutsinta, putopao with salted egg, turon malagkit and sapin-sapin. These
are all homemade products so it is fresh baked and cooked that will really satisfy your cravings.
We offer a delivery services, you will just add delivery if you are not accompanied by free
delivery on selected areas. The products and services being offered are unique and like nothing
anyone’s seen before.
We will post our products on our Facebook Page, they can place their order through
online or just contact the available numbers posted on the website. Then, the staff will collect

and finalize the orders. We will have our cut off day of orders and delivery day will be posted
also in websites. One of our staff will send invoice to those who place their order. Then, our
operating manager together with the other member will finalize the order then they will send it to
CEO for further review. After that, she will contact the supplier to place the order. On the
delivery day, the members will pick up the orders on designated area. The members will deliver
the products to the customers and they are instructed to take pictures as proof of delivery.
The budgeted cost to deliver the products is 500 pesos because of the transporation of the
staff who will deliver the products. But we will add delivery charges for customers who are far
from the designated are where we picked up our order. But after the two weeks operation, we
will add deliver charges for the customer and will just update if they are included in the ares with
free delivery.
VIII. OPERATING PLAN
The Bake & Take Shop is located in the City of Ilagan, Isabela, however it will be run
entirely online. We will use social media platforms, primarily Facebook, to promote and sell our
products. We will create our own facebook page where we’ll be able to upload and post
information about the different kinds of products and services that we’re going to offer.
Customers can order through our Facebook page and can also contact us at the phone number
listed on the page. Orders will be collected on a specific date; those who prefer to order in our
shop will have one day to submit their orders, and their orders will be delivered the next day. Our
business prefers to collect first the customer’s orders because we want to serve and prepare the
best and freshly baked cake for our customers.
A reseller shop is part of our business class. One of the relative of our CEO, Jefferlyn
Claro, owns a home-based bakery that sells freshly made cakes. Our company operates as a
distributor. As a result of the pandemic, members of the shop considered selling each other in
their different communities. An example of this will be picked up by Emelyn Borce, one of our
staff, who will deliver the product to the customer, with a photo of the delivery to be shared on
our Facebook page as proof of delivery. We can state that by following this procedure, we will
be able to save a lot of money by not having to pay for transportation fees merely to distribute to
other locations.
Bake & Take Sweet Treats will be operating as a partnership firm. All the eight
members will jointly share the ownership of the business and they will have equal amount of
equity, profitability, and all of these members hold equal decision making authority. All the
partners will be actively involved in the day to day operation of the business. The main reason
for operating as partnership business is to establish such a business that is strong in financing and
management. The eight members will be jointly invest an equity capital depends on how much
they will agree with. The sources of equity financing of the partners will be personal savings and
their friends and family members. All the eight partners of the Bake and Take Sweet Treats will
have equal authority to make decisions. All the major decisions of the business must require the
consent of each member. Cash, equipment, vehicles, and technology resources are considered as
hard assets of Bake & Take Sweet Treats. Cash and equipment which will be used to the entire
production of our products and in order to purchase different resources of our business. The
vehicles will be used to deliver our products. Technology resources like laptops, cellphones and
etc. that will be used for advertisement and different transactions of our business.
The value network of Bake and Take Sweet Treats is that we need the work of supplier to
baked our products which we will resell it to our customers. We need the help of members to
pack and deliver our products. We need also, resellers to sell our products also in order to gain
more profit. We will always remember “the customer’s satisfaction is our motto” during our
