WELCOME REMARKS 2023 My heartfelt greetings to our highly-respected Schools Division Superintendent Dr. ____________________________. (Ma’am). To our zealous and hard-working teachers headed by our school principal, Sir Mario B. Tamayo, (Sir) , Distinguished Guests, supportive parents and guardians, cheerful friends, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant day to all of you! It is with immense gratitude and excitement that I stand before you today to extend a heartfelt welcome to this momentous Moving-Up Ceremony of the grade 10 completers with the theme, “___________________________________________________________________________.” If there is anything that can be said to describe this school year, it would simply be “challenging”. Unlike in the past years where we have studied by utilizing just one main method, which was either face-to-face or modular, this year we have been on modular and face-to-face modalities at the same time. As we were forced to embrace change as a part of our existence, our courage, capabilities, endurance, dedication, and even confidence were truly put to the test. Yes, we may have suffered from what could arguably be the greatest trial our Education system has ever faced, but we, the Gen Z, have invincible spirits that would never concede. So we stood up and bravely carried on our way to the end because we knew that adversities can only make us stronger and wiser. And yes! this remarkable milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering support and guidance of these people. First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to our remarkable principal. Thank you for your unwavering leadership, guidance, and belief in our potential. You have created an environment where we could thrive, pushing us to reach new heights and inspiring us to become the best version of ourselves. Your dedication to our growth has been instrumental in shaping the individuals we are today. To our exceptional teachers, thank you for being the catalysts of our intellectual and personal growth. You have not only imparted knowledge but also instilled in us a thirst for learning and a passion for excellence. Your commitment to our education and your tireless efforts to help us reach our full potential have been truly inspiring. We are grateful for the profound impact you have had on our lives. To our loving parents and guardians - Your unconditional love, unwavering support, and countless sacrifices have been the cornerstone of our success. From the moment we took our first steps, you have been our guiding light, encouraging us to dream big and reach for the stars. Your belief in us, even when we doubted ourselves, has given us the courage to pursue our passions and overcome every obstacle in our path. You have been our pillars of strength, offering guidance and solace during challenging times, and celebrating our achievements with unwavering pride. We are forever grateful for your endless love and the sacrifices you have made to ensure our happiness and success. And to you my fellow completers, today is a day to reflect upon the countless memories we have shared. From the laughter-filled classrooms to the late-night study sessions, from the victories on the sports fields to the camaraderie in extracurricular activities, each moment has shaped us into a close-knit family. As we prepare to step into the next chapter of our lives, let us carry with us the friendships, experiences, and values we have gained during our time together. As we bid farewell to Mambajao National High School, let us remember that this institution has provided us with more than just an education. It has nurtured our dreams, ignited our passions, and prepared us to face the world with courage and determination. The lessons we have learned here extend beyond the textbooks, teaching us the importance of resilience, teamwork, and lifelong learning.
