Monologue Final Rubric (Spring 2023)
● Choose a 1:30-2 minute monologue.
● Submit a copy of your monologue in google classroom.
● Your monologue should be scored (subtext (underlying meaning),
beats, bits, minibits)
● You must have motivated blocking (crossing the stage areas) and
stage business (any other movement that includes
props/costumes).
● You are required to be off-book (lines memorized).
● Prepare a slate (introduction and conclusion).
