For example, I was not born into a rich family or blessed with wealth to start a business.

This brings me to the reason I wrote this guide. Too many gurus and fake experts online sell

These programs always promote some secret method or secret tricks that you need to
follow to create success. But the truth is, there is no luck or secret.

There are no other Secrets or tricks involved in building a successful online store. The
people who succeed are those who are willing to put in the work and time to learn
how to master these three skills. the ones who don't simply give up or blame it on bad
luck.
Just think about it, a web developer isn’t born an expert. Continuously learning and
practicing web development skills allow some to become the top web developers in the
world.

How To Sell Online With Dropshipping
Dropshipping is essentially selling products without having to own any actual inventory.
The way it works is quite simple.
1. A customer places an order on your store or website.
2. You then send the order to the supplier.
3. The supplier fulfills the order and sends it directly to the customer on your behalf.
Most dropshipping stores use Shopify, which is an ecommerce platform that easily allows
you to integrate suppliers and products with a few clicks.
What's so great about dropshipping, is that you can change the products you're selling at
any time without investing in any inventory. There's almost no cost to changing your
brand or business at any time.
Now that we have this covered, let's cover how we can actually build a successful
dropshipping store.
Pick The Right Niche For Your Store
Now you might be asking yourself: do I start a niche store or a general store? Or do I start
a one-product store? I'll cut to the short answer, a niche store.
Now that doesn't mean just a single product or product category. You can have more than
one product in your store but make your focus within one niche.
Some say to follow your passions and interests to sort out the best item to sell, while
others say you should sell what people want or need and is currently profitable.
I recommend a mix of both.
For example, if you practice meditation and are also passionate about spirituality or
astrology. You can combine these two categories into one store. This allows you to build a
brand around both since they can serve one type of buyer.
By focusing on just one niche, your brand will stick out, and anyone who visits your store will
be easier to upsell more products.
Now it's up to you to decide whether you want to start a niche or general store, but I
recommend just sticking to one niche.
Below is a great example of a niche store that offers a variety of products.

WINNING PRODUCTS
Now when it comes to finding winning products for your store. You want to ask yourself a
few questions before you add the products.
Does this product solve a problem or provide any actual value?
Is this product appealing to a large following or a niche audience?
Is this product unique or different, or can I improve this product any better?
Are there products that compliment this product or fit in the same category?
Before you start selling any single product, it's always a good idea to purchase one of the
products or at least a sample. Not all products are made the same, so you want to make
sure whatever you're selling to your customer is a quality item.
For example, below is a product that I scaled to over 1.3 million dollars, including upsells. In
the last two years alone, online streaming and podcasting have become mainstream. Also,
many workers and employees are now working from home. This product solves a problem
by dampening noise when using a microphone or headset.
We made sure that the audience was also large enough when selling this product. You can
only scale as much as your audience size is. So you want to make sure whatever product
you are selling has a large audience. Now, if you're selling to a smaller audience, you're
going to want to make sure you have a more expensive product to make a sizeable prof

Don't forget that this isn't a get-rich-quick scheme. If you're going to be selling a product
long-term, try to have some interest in it. If you're going to own a business or sell a product,
you want something you believe will provide value and that you have some knowledge or
interest in.

UPSELLS AND AUTOMATED EMAILS
TO MAXIMIZE YOUR PROFIT
Now to the most important part, maximizing profit. If you plan to sell one product to one
person one time, then your profit will be nonexistent. The answer to making six and sevenfigure profits is upselling.
When somebody visits your store, it's because your store is positioned a certain way and is
attracting a specific audience or niche group. This allows you to sell them more than one
product in that niche. The key to maximizing your profit is to provide more options or
products that someone with a particular interest might purchase.
A good example is with the arm stand above. The same person who bought the microphone
Shield to reduce noise might also want to purchase the arm stand to change the
microphone's position.
Aside from providing upsells on your website, you want to make sure to upsell through
emails.
With automated email sequences, you can target customers who abandon their checkouts
or forget to make a purchase. When upselling, you also want to provide post-purchase
upsells and recommendations, or target previous customers with promotions or other
products.

Setting up and automating upsell emails and retargeting emails on Shopify can be done
easily with certain apps.

SCALE YOUR STORE WITH
FREE AND PAID TRAFFIC
Now comes the part where we have to get customers to our store. Unfortunately, they don't
just wander and walk right into your online store. And simply spamming your link in social
media posts or groups will not be a good idea for your business.
Facebook Ads now Meta Ads
The fastest way to get customers to your store is with paid traffic, specifically Facebook
ads. This is the tried-and-true method to start getting sales for your store.
Facebook ads or now Meta uses an extremely smart algorithm. This enables you to target
the right customer at the right time to spend money more efficiently to acquire customers.
When you set up your dropshipping store, you add your pixel code which gathers data from
visitors to your Facebook ad account.

Free Traffic with SEO ( slower method )
We all know the power of search engines. Everyone now uses either google or youtube
( owned by Google) to search for products or questions about products before purchasing.
One of the easiest ways to get free traffic is by adding specific keywords in your website
that people search when looking for a product.
These keywords or keyword phrases can also be used to rank on image searches. This
can help increase your store traffic with social media networks like Pinterest.
For example, Pinterest images that have keywords will show up on google search. So if
your customer base uses Pinterest or searches for a specific keyword phrase, your product
can show up on google and Pinterest.
Now, this method does take time to work. Because certain words are very competitive, it
might take weeks or months for specific keywords to show up for your website or store on
google.
TikTok Ads
Another great way to send traffic to your store is using TikTok ads. Since this ad platform
allows dropshippers to target their audience based on behavior (interest expressed through
posts) rather than demographics like age or gender, they get more bang for their buck
when it comes to dropshipping sales with TikTok ads!
