Increase your word power! Introduction to Vocabulary.com 1. Go into https://www.vocabulary.com/. Avoid fake vocabulary.com websites. 2. Sign up for an account in vocabulary.com. 3. Once you are signed up and logged in, click the menu icon at the upper right corner for more options. 4. Go down the My Account options and you will see an option called My Progress. Once you click My Progress, a graph will be displayed recording all the work you have done so far in vocabulary.com. (If you are new to vocabulary.com, nothing will be displayed). 5. Observe the options on top of the website. • Play- Answer vocabulary questions by reading the context usage and definitions. • Look Up- Search the meaning of a word here. • Lists- Create word lists and also you can practice the lists. Note: Each time you use the website, remember to log in to the website, otherwise your work will not be recorded under My Progress. 6. To start your journey in Vocabulary.com, try a practice round (https://www.vocabulary.com/lists/558097/practice) from this vocabulary list https://www.vocabulary.com/lists/558097 7. Practice words in vocabulary.com regularly to improve your knowledge. We will ask you to submit a screenshot of your progress in Week 10 and Week 15.
