Juridical or legal tie 4. Fact, prestation or service Obligations are civil or natural - Natural obligation are not based on law, but base on equity and natural law - Not allowed to file action in court - Voluntary fulfillment nalang siya Sources of Obligation - Law (obligations ex lege) - Explicitly provided ng batas - Ex. Obligations to pay taxes - Contracts (obligations ex contractu) - Law between contracting parties, should be complied in good space - C.O.C. - Consent - Object - Cost - Quasi-contracts - Lawful, voluntary management of the property or affairs of another without the knowledge or consent of the latter - Ex. - Negotiorum gestio - Delicts - Quasi-delicts
