Accomplishment Report in Mathematics
SY. 2022-2023
I.
Introduction
Next to English, Mathematics continues to be the subject that learners fear the
most. This is true in spite of the numerous efforts made by Mathematics
educators, yet Mathematics teachers should still try to make Math more
approachable and comfortable for their students.
This is a big challenge for us math teachers, so we gave it a lot of consideration
as to how to make complex procedures more approachable for the students.
What the students can absorb through the use of engaging activities should be
taken into consideration, as it always has been and always will be.
Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 28, s. 2020, our school conducted a
classroom-based Math Week celebration where different activities held last
January 16-20, 2023 in every grade level.
Activities conducted during Math Week Celebration were Math Trivia, Math
Quiz, Math Trail, Math Maze, Math Trivia Mental Math, answering window cards
and problem solving. The facilitators of each activities were their teacher/
adviser. Each task required the students to use their mathematical abilities.
