Purpose/ Scope/ Policy Statement
CONTENT
PURPOSE
The Pack & hold SOP is to be used as a supplemental to the mold policy,
as it has been set up as a guide to be followed when unforeseen
circumstance require product to be held at origin for an extended time.
SCOPE
This SOP is applicable to Calvin Klein NA, TOMMY HILFIGER , and
Heritage brands (Sportswear, Dress, Warner's, Olga ,True n Co, Speedo
and Cold Weather Accessories) & NIKE.

All products should be packed with Micro Pak PE sheets according to PVH Mold Policy.
All final inspections should be conducted according to PVH Standard AQL rules, at the earliest 3days before the ex-factory dates,.
If PO’s are inspected prior to this timeline, they need to be put on hold and only released in PVH VMS QI system after a 2nd audit
pass after reviewing appearance and moisture levels of the products.
Moisture content of the products should fall within the moisture range provided in Mold SOP based on ASTM moisture regain table stated in
PVH Mold SOP.
Any product with moisture content outside of acceptable range would have to be sent to dry room for drying.
Product would be moved into the warehouse where it is logged with date and time and place.
POs can only be released after a second audit pass inspections if inspected earlier than 3days of ex-factory dates.
The 2nd audits should be done only to ensure there is no visual appearance of mold nor mildew odor.
The moisture levels of the product and packaging must be checked using a moisture meter as stated in PVH Mold SOP.
Cartons must be placed on plastic pallets
Warehouse storage and all working facilities must be kept clean.
Relative Humidity of finished goods warehouse should be maintained between 55-60% or below for countries with high humidity season.

• Cartons must be placed on plastic pallets.
• POs being stored for extended time need to be put on hold status in the PVH VMS QI system.
• Desiccants must be added inside any master polybags or boxes. All boxes must be sealed and closed accordingly.
• Cartons must be dated. Products and desiccant packs must be inspected weekly and weighed to identify any moisture gains while stored.
All findings per carton should be recorded,
• The actual cartons moisture levels must also be monitored according to PVH Mold SOP
• Random checking every 4 weeks by FCQA/PVH auditor or factory representative to ensure the desiccant weight does not hit its
maximum weight (Max weight meaning its reached it 40% moisture absorption ), if the desiccant reaches the max weight it must
be replaced.
• All desiccant must be removed from cartons before shipments and replaced with Micro Pak PE sheets following PVH Mold Policy.
• Number of desiccant use should follow the attached recommendation(see page 6 )
• Products can only be released after a second audit pass visual/mold check inspections.

*If stored product is found with the presence of mold (visible) or suspected (mildew or musky smell) on product or at storage location
the shipment is to be kept on hold. Samples rush to Micro Pak for mold testing and the business supply & QA leads alerted for next
steps
