RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER
COMMITTEE FOR THE APPOINTMNET OF BARANGAY POLICE/TANODS OF BARANGAY_____
BENITO SOLIVEN, ISABELA AS COMMUNITY BRIGADE PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 2, SECTION 387
OF THE LOCAL GEVERNMENT CODE OF 1991.
WHEREAS, the duties and responsibilities of Barangay Tanods are indispensable
indispensable in the prevention of crime, promotion of public safety and in the delivery of
public service;
WHEREAS, the barangay requires Tanods to carry out purposes of the barangay
government, it, therefore, necessitates the recommendation of appointment of Barangay
Tanods as Community Brigade who shall effectively discharge the duties and responsibilities of
the said office;
WHEREAS, the person to be appointed as Barangay Tanods should meet the following
qualifications pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 2003-42 of the Department of Interior
and Local Government;

A Filipino Citizen
Must be resident for at least6 months of the barangay where he is appointed
Must be a registered voter
At least 18 years old but not more than 60 years old
Can read and write but preferably high school graduate
Of good moral Character
Physically and mentally fit
WHEREFORE, upon unanimous accord of all the members present, it was-
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to approve the recommendation of Barangay Peace
and Order Committee for the appointment of Barangay Tanod of Barangay____ Benito Soliven,
Isabela as Community Brigade pursuant to chapter 2, sectuib 387 of the Local Government
Code of 1991 as follows:
