Code: ID-A-2/4
1. Find the currents in the given networks:

I3
2V
4Ω
3Ω
1V
4V
2Ω
2. Two cells of emf 2 V and 1 V and internal resistances 1 Ω and 2 Ω respectively have
their positive terminals connected by a wire of 10 Ω resistance and their negative
terminals by a wire of 4 Ω resistance. Another wire of 10 Ω resistance is connected
by middle points of these wires. Find the potential difference across 10Ω
resistance coil.
3. Calculate the equivalent resistance of the given electrical network (Figure – A)
between the points A & B. Calculate the current through the arm CD and ACB.
Given: the value of R is 2 Ω and the pd between A & B is 10 V dc.
4. A battery of 10 V and negligible internal resistance is connected across the
diagonally opposite corners of a cubical network consisting of 12 resistors each of
resistance 1 Ω as shown in Figure B. Determine the equivalent resistance of the
network and the current along each edge of the cube.
