MBBR is a commonly used wastewater treatment technology that plays several roles
on wastewater:
Biodegradation of organic matter: MBBR uses special biofilm (biofilm) carriers to
adsorb organic matter in wastewater onto the surface of the carriers to form biofilms.
The microorganisms on these biofilms effectively reduce the organic pollutants in the
wastewater by degrading the organic substances and converting them into harmless
substances such as carbon dioxide and water.
Ammonia and nitrogen removal: The biofilm carriers in MBBR provide a large
attachment area, which helps the attachment and growth of nitrifying and denitrifying
bacteria in the biofilm. The nitrifying bacteria are able to convert ammonia nitrogen in
the wastewater into nitrate, while the denitrifying bacteria reduce nitrate to nitrogen
gas. In this way, MBBR can effectively remove ammonia nitrogen and nitrogen
compounds from wastewater, reduce the nutrient content in the water body and
prevent eutrophication of the water body.
Stabilization of microbial community: MBBR provides an ideal biological
environment, which promotes the attachment and growth of microorganisms. The
microbial community in the biofilm is relatively stable and has strong degradation
ability for various pollutants in the wastewater. The stable microbial community also
has the ability to resist shock loads and toxic substances, which improves the stability
and anti-interference ability of the wastewater treatment system.
High treatment efficiency and small footprint: MBBR system has high wastewater
treatment efficiency and can achieve better water quality treatment effect in relatively
short treatment time. In addition, the biofilm carrier of MBBR system can make full
use of space, which makes the footprint of wastewater treatment equipment relatively
small and suitable for places with limited space.

compounds from wastewater through the movement of biofilm carriers and the
growth of microorganisms, improving wastewater treatment efficiency and reducing

BIO BLOCK MEDIA
It is an environmentally friendly material. Bio Blok Filter media is composed of
polyethylene and mesh structures that are welded together to form a large square
block. The unique surface structure of many mesh tubes provides a large, accessible
surface area to enhance biologically grown filter media. We are leading Bio Block
