This is Rashed & Thowkir ‘Rise of Women as Human Resource Professional: A Changing Trend in Bangladeshi Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry’ Context In the recent times the number of women in the workforce has increased and it is even more noticeable in the Human resource department of the fast moving consumer goods company. This research is about finding the possible reasons behind this event. Our Population is Approximately 600 We were able to collect 57 samples. 57 responses from various FMCG companies. Sampling Method: Purposive Sampling (Non Random) Research Philosophy: Interpretivism The research is both qualitative & quantitative. Questionnaire Method: Likert’s Scale We performed chi square test to determine whether to accept or reject the null hypothesis according to the received samples. We got a p value greater than the critical value. So we fail to reject the null hypothesis. We ran Cronbach’s Alpha Reliability Test on our survey to find out if the responses were consistent and without error to a accepted level. The alpha value was at a accepted level. α = .73 Findings - Jobs that are related to control human resource is a good fit for women for their ability to communicate and develop people, judge intangible things clearly - Women are more sociable than men presently. - Women think job at human resource department is safer than other departments. - Most of the women prefer desk jobs than field jobs. This findings can be used for • Understanding the psychology of the HR professionals better. • Preparing motivational tools accordingly • Further research for the best human resource department combination.
