They also offer magazines of all variety that would appeal to younger readers who enjoy topics like video games, sports, fashion, career & growth among other things. They also offer podcasts of all different variety. This is also a good resource for articles, study aids, textbooks, and reference materials. The site cannot be navigated without first logging in. Scribd is available on all platforms including ipads and phones for free. Cost ● ● ● ● To use Scribd there is a monthly fee as it is a subscription based service. The fee is currently $11.99 which is a increase from the previous price of $8.99. Compared to some other services it’s still decently priced. For example, Audible which is just a audiobook service is $7.99 but $16 for the full service. Scribd offers a 30 day free trial at the beginning and to be honest as long as you have an email address you can just open new accounts without paying. The search feature on the site is a great tool for finding any particular topic you’d like. They update the site regularly so you’re getting updated material. That means newly released books, magazines, comics etc. I have personally found some obscure articles through Scribd along with the occasional textbook for one of my classes. You can print and download certain material to keep. You can even do this during your trial period.
