WELCOME TO 1:1 COACHING!
There are many coaching programs in the fitness world so we are honored and
thankful that you chose us to help navigate your journey. While we have some of
the smartest and most qualified coaches in the industry, it doesn’t matter unless we
help you achieve success. That’s our priority.
We want to ensure you reach your goals so before you start, here are some tips to
help you hit the ground running to get the most out of your coaching experience!
Check-in Regularly: Clients who are diligent in contacting their
coach at least 2 -3 times a week have historically been much more
successful than those who are passive in their communication. So
make sure you’re vigilant in maintaining good communication!
Ask Questions: Your coach is a treasure trove of information, take advantage!
Unsure if you’re following the plan correctly? Want to know why certain
things are recommended? Have things you want to incorporate in your plan
but not sure if it’s okay? Don’t hesitate to ask! Your coach can help you
determine the best practices to follow in a safe and healthy manner. Not only
is there no such thing as a silly question, but there’s no such thing as too
many questions.
Understand Macros: Protein, Carbs, and Fats. These are the foundation upon
which a successful diet plan is built and ratio/amounts matter. If you chose
the diet or the combo option, your coach will write a diet plan using these
three macronutrients and teach you how to count them. We do it slightly
differently than other programs though. This is critical to the plan so if you
are uncertain about anything, ask your coach!
Be Consistent: Consistency helps develop routines and builds momentum.
This is how you can form good habits that stick with you and make the
process gradually easier to follow.
Be Transparent: Perhaps you had more to eat than your plan
called for last week, or you skipped your training -- it can happen
to anyone. Trying to hide that fact from your coach may protect
your pride and avoid potential embarrassment but is detrimental
in helping you get back on track to your goals. Be open and honest in
your communication so your coaches can make helpful adjustments and a
gameplan to get you right back on track. They are professionals and their
focus is to help you succeed, not make value judgments against you!
Self-Reflect: No matter how great your game plan is, it is useless if it is not
being implemented properly. Think about why you signed up for coaching,
what you want to get out of it, and how seriously you want to achieve the
goal. Hold yourself accountable, be as compliant as you can, be honest with
yourself, and success is inevitable!
Stay Guilt Free: Everything is a trade off! If you decide to have a dinner out
for a special occasion on the diet, you might not have maximal results, but
that is okay if you choose it! Make choices like this carefully and decide what
your priorities are. This way if you abstain for maximal progress you don’t
feel like you missed out and if you indulge and don’t quite make maximal
progress, you don’t feel guilty. Either choice is right if it is right for you!
