Users can post programming questions and use tags with relevant topics. They can also monitor their own posts and check if they are already answered. Additionally, users have the ability to bookmark posts of interest for future reference. The application supports upvoting and downvoting of posts to highlight the most helpful answers. Users can actively participate by providing answers to other users' programming questions, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing community. 1.1 Authorized Use Permission The GC Dev2Dev is available to the students that is currently enrolled in CCS Department. Open your internet browser and access the web address below https://gordoncollegeweb.com/gc2dev/#/login 1. Type the domain email and password. a. Username and password should be provided by school 2. Ask a Question button on the upper right corner of the web application to ask a question. 1. Side Nav a. The side nav includes the Home, Profile, Questions, My Questions and Bookmarks 2. Posts a. This is where you can see all the posts that has been made by all the students. The posts on the Home page where sorted based on the number of Upvotes. 3. Search Bar a. You can search about specific posts using the search bar. Type the type of posts that you wanted to find and the Posts would be sorted. 4. Ask a Question Button a. To ask or post a question, click the Ask a Question button and a modal form would pop up. 5. Tags a. Sign Out button a. Press the sign out button to log out from the web application Ask a Question To ask a question, complete the required fields and provide the necessary information and details about your question. 1. Title a. Provide the title of your question. It should be specific and straight to the point 2. Description a. Provide the description for your question. You can include snippets of codes using the text editor 3. Upload an image a. You can upload an example image of the error or problem that you are encountering. 4. Tags a. You can press the upvote button if you find the post is relevant. You can press the downvote button if you find it not relevant. 2. Name and Credit Score a. This will display the name of the student who made the post and also the number of the credit score. 3. Title and Description a. You can see here the title of the post and the description of the post. 4. Check Mark a. To easily determine if the post is already answered or not. 5. Drop Button a. It includes your 1. Name, Domain Email, and your Department/Program. Also, you can see your 2. Total Credits that you can achieve by getting upvote from your posts. You can also get 3. Badges that you can achieve by hitting the required Credit Score. 1 2 3 Questions Page On the questions page, all the elements visible on the Home page are also present on the Questions page. The difference lies in how the posts are sorted. While the questions on the Home page are sorted based on upvotes, the questions on the Questions page are sorted based on the time they were posted.
