going on between the
traders of our city and
the other.
o They would import
precious stones like
turquoise and jade,
metals like gold and
silver.
o By now over thousand
settlements bearing
Harappan material has
been discovered.

External trade
o The relationship of trade between Harappan Civilization included
foreign trade, article trade, and Agricultural trade.
o The trade marketers of the Harappan civilization traded their
business with Afghanistan and Iran for mineral substances and
imported Jade from China.
o The foreign trade called cedar wood was imported through
various rivers that include Ravi, Indus and Suites.
o People from the Harappan civilization made things with mud and
primarily traded them to the foreign market for gaining more
profit. Accessories and ornaments were also made with different
types of seashells, beads, and pearls, and traded.
