TRADE AND COMMERCE Harappa civilisation Internal trade o Regular trade was going on between the traders of our city and the other. o They would import precious stones like turquoise and jade, metals like gold and silver. o By now over thousand settlements bearing Harappan material has been discovered. 5/30/2023 External trade o The relationship of trade between Harappan Civilization included foreign trade, article trade, and Agricultural trade. o The trade marketers of the Harappan civilization traded their business with Afghanistan and Iran for mineral substances and imported Jade from China. o The foreign trade called cedar wood was imported through various rivers that include Ravi, Indus and Suites. o People from the Harappan civilization made things with mud and primarily traded them to the foreign market for gaining more profit.
