Case Evaluation The study encountered two main issues that the Laxamana's Eatery has, the location and lack of manpower. We know that one of the most important factors in business success is location, which is currently the main concern of Laxamana’s Eatery, a Carinderia/Eatery business. The owner stated that their current business location is an obstruction that causes delays in business operations whenever there is a clearing operation in their area. Another issue is a lack of manpower, which we know that manpower is one of the essential business resources. The Laxamana’s Eatery is well-known, particularly among students, since the business is located near the school, and the owner admits that they frequently struggle to fully accommodate their customers' needs, which is why they are looking for more qualified people to hire and to assist with their daily business operations. Proposed Solutions ➢ We proposed a realistic action to hire at least 2-3 employees and put 1 for the customer accommodation during peak hour for better service. ➢ To find a new ideal and better location for their business operations. Conclusion Eatery is very convenient for every student and some people who are working and want to eat affordable and satisfying food in a nice place. Location and lack of manpower are the main concerns of Laxamana's Eatery, the business that we conduct for a case study. We recommend realistic and possible solutions to the business owner that could resolve these types of issues, such as hiring new staff for at least 2 - 3 as assistance for accommodating customers, finding a new ideal location close to their current area so that their customers could still go and avail their services, and lastly, as an additional we proposed installing a CCTV camera for security purposes. The solutions that we offer are based on practical ways of addressing and solving the issues regarding location and manpower. Recommendation ❖ Lower the qualifications / at least high school graduate. ❖ Set up a CCTV around the area for security purposes. ❖ Make a QR code link for the online menu. ❖ Find a new ideal location for their business operations. Implementation ▪ To be able to achieve manpower, the business should lower the qualifications in hiring new employees. Reviewing the applicant's resume in at least a high school graduate makes sure that the employee is trustworthy and fit to the job/role of the business. Lowering the qualifications in hiring employees can help people to earn money, especially the students that need work to satisfy their needs. ▪ For a better location, find a new ideal location for their business operations. The right location can increase the chance of a business succeeding. ▪ To improve the security of the business, the establishment must be surrounded by Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras. Buying and installing an affordable CCTV system can help the business to monitor daily activities and to also reduce the crimes around the establishment. ▪ For fast accommodation, business must be introduced to modern world technology. Managing an online business is the fastest way to serve and communicate with customers. Creating a Quick Response (QR) Code can be used to view menus directly and pay bills. Having a QR Code can help the business to have faster transactions. Documentation
