I have decided to paint my old photography of sunset and a cell tower, wherein the cell tower is
timely aligned with the crescent phase of the moon. That photo of mine was taken on the 14th of February
2021 at exactly 5:50 pm. I was playing with my jumping rope on our rooftop at that time and I suddenly
noticed that the cell tower is almost perfectly aligned vertically with the moon. By the way, I didn’t know
well about the information of the cell tower but for reference, the cell tower was near Quezon City
Memorial Circle. I really like to capture photos of such, most likely I love to capture nature and skies.
We might say that photography is already a kind of art. But for me, I am still demanding another
way of art which I have never tried before, that is why I have decided to paint my own photography. It is
not perfect enough but for me, it was a beautiful first try at painting. I painted it in a one-fourth cut of a
short folder with the use of poster paint.
For me when I saw my photography, it is like a space rocket that about to have a mission going to
the moon’s surface, as simple as that. And, for me, this picture is very valuable, because it is not always
you are going to have an almost perfectly aligned photo of the moon and that cell tower. I could say that
this photo is very cool and epic. I’m also hoping for other people who will be able to see my painting as
they also appreciate it like how I appreciate it. I am hoping that they will view it as a rare circumstance.
The way I get fascinated by this kind of occurrence. It’s like the moon is having fun with communication
infrastructure like this. A moon that deliberately hits the tower to indicate that he has something new to
detect on his land.
