Topic: Fast Food Can i get uhhhhhhhhh Did you know that there are over 2,000,000 drive-thrus in America alone? That's a lot of food, and if you are like any other American, you've probably eaten some form of substance that gets delivered from window to car at least once in your life. And It just so happens that I have quite the experience going to said places. Good or bad, I consider myself a connoisseur of the not-so-fine dining where I have seen the good, the bad, and the oh hell no!. First and foremost, the good; in the wise words of Eleanor Roosevelt, “ chick-fil-la has the best customer service out of all fast food restaurants.” Because even when they burnt my chicken nuggets into pieces of inedible charcoal they completely remade them and gave me a free ice cream cone along with a complimentary meal for the next visit. Next, the bad, and although they have the best spicy chicken nuggets in the world. Ninety percent of the time, I get at least two frozen chicken nuggets in my order at Wendy’s. This ticks me off, since their burgers are never frozen. Why can’t the chicken nuggets be the same? I really would love a hotter, juicier, all-natural white chicken nugget. Is that too much to ask for? Last but not least, let’s get ready to talk about the unspeakable actions of people that choose the morning shifts when they are not morning people. Trying to order an Egg McMuffin with sausage and a cup of coffee, which ended up translating to an Egg McMuffin with orange juice. When notifying them about the mistake, they state that you clearly ordered that, and they will not be redoing your order. Luckily for that person, I had five minutes to get to my job. Therefore, I didn’t have the option to argue. I ate my overpriced egg McMuffin and a cup of highly acidic juice that would only give me heartburn for the next hour or two. So please beware of the ruthless and horrible stories of the drive-through franchise. America runs on Dunkin, but there are a few times it runs on sour lemons. Know your surroundings, get out of the car, and go inside the unknown building where all the meals are made. Look at the person taking the order.. Smile, say please, and thank you. Do not look away from the person. Stay brave and alert at all times! Don’t forget to look inside the bag to make sure that they added napkins, condiments, and most importantly the meal!
