DEPARTMENT OF WORKSHEET-3.3 Name: Pushpendra Kumar Branch: CSE Semester: 4th Subject Name: Computer Networks UID: 22BCS80081 Section/Group: 912-A Date of performance: Subject Code-21CSH-256 Aim: Configuration of TCP/IP Protocols. Requirements: Cisco Student Packet Tracer Algorithm/Flowchart (For programming-based labs): 1. Launch the simulator. 2. Plot two routers, two switches and some end devices (PCs and Laptops) where end devices are connected to switch, which is further connected to the routers and then the routers are connected with each other via automatically chosen wired connectors. The connections should be made according to the diagram shown below. DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING 3. Give IP addresses to all the end devices and provide IP address to the router same as that provided to the default gateway of the end devices in the correct Ethernet port. DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING 4. Configure the Serial Interface port status to on and set the clock rate after providing Serial IP. Set the Network, Mask and Next Hop addresses for each router. Then click on Add. Result/Output/Writing Summary: Understood how Cisco Packet Tracer works to configure TCP/IP Protocol in a network. DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING Learning outcomes (What I have learnt): 1. Know about how the data is transfer through computers. 2. Uses of switches (Can be used) and routers. 3. Knowledge about address like IP, default, static routing, etc. 4. Knowledge regarding TCP/IP. 5. Some knowledge about port status, subnet mask.
