Macroeconomics
I. Course Description
This syllabus is developed according to the teaching guidelines of sports economics and
management by Ministry of Education, and the specific requirements of the curriculum of sports
economic and management of this college, combined with the current characteristics of development of
sports industry in Jiangsu Province and nationwide, and from the perspective of students’ vision and
multidimensional view to analyze problems.
The emphasis of this program is to link economic phenomena in practice, lay particular stress on
economic phenomena in sports industry, and train students' ability to analyze problems by using
economic principles.
This course is a required course for students majoring in sports economics and management. It will
be offered in the third semester of the second academic year with a total of 48 credit hours, 3 credits.
II. Objectives and tasks of the course
Through face-to-face teaching, answering questions, homework, discussion and other teaching
methods and means, students master the basic theoretical knowledge of economics and general analysis
methods, comprehensively and systematically understand the basic content and basic theory of
macroeconomics, and learn to combine practical analysis and application, to broaden their thinking for
future work analysis and problem solving.

V. Assessment
1. Students' course scores are mainly composed of daily assessment scores and final exam
scores, with daily scores accounting for 30% and final exam scores accounting for 70%.
2. Daily Assessment: students are assessed according to their classroom performance and
homework completion.
3. Final exam: closed book exam.
