Classic Racism and Modern Racism Racism is an extremity of discrimination among the people either due to their traditions, skin color, or predominance considerations. Racism is explored by the behavior and acts of people what they do with black as race conflict is present among black and white people. Racism prevents a man to live with great dignity and standardized equality of life as all others just because of discrimination in races. With time, different implementations have made changes in the mentality of the people living in one place without considering black as inferior to them. With this, it has also seemed that racism has modified itself just from the concept of race to culture incompatibility called modern racism. The people living in one place, in one country have adopted their civilizations and culture. When an authorized person or party tries to implement a culture or civilization as litigation for all to follow, the different ethnic groups just refuse to accept. So based on racism, again the discrimination in rights of minorities takes place in the name of modern racism. The polemicists have also evaluated that people who belong to a different culture and ethnic groups cannot stay at one place without evolving conflicts. Different measures and implementations are now designed to control modern racism as restrictions are imposed on the immigration of people with different cultures to move from one place to another. Mitigation in the representatives of the different countries by forcing them to leave the country is also to control modern racism. In the novel ‘‘Nickel Boys’’ the detailing about racism is greatly described with iconic content and explanation about a real story of tyranny on a black man that was made just on the concept and mentality set of racism. Elwood Curtis is the main character of the story. He was a black African business owner in the USA. He was punished, blamed, considered as a delinquent for unmaking sins. He was treated badly just because of the discrimination of races that was found at an extreme level between white and black people. No matter, Elwood was abused and punished many times, but he was an optimist. He wanted to make revolutions and changes over the world to eliminate a meaningless concept of racism among the people. Elwood took Martin Luther King as him a motivational inspiration to work for civil rights without losing hope. His grandmother was always remained unsecured and afraid and just tried to prohibit Elwood from not taking part in civilian movements or not to raise sound on mischiefs. But Elwood did not lose hope. He continually worked over the civil rights movement for making awareness among the people about the misconceptions regarding racism. The people and students of Nickle were cruel and stubborn for black. For his intelligence, Elwood was succeeded to get admission to a university but after his first class, he was convicted as a vehicle stealing thief and was shifted to Nickle academy where he was beaten many times, abused, and undertaken for corporal punishment. Turner was the boy at Nickel who became a friend of Elwood. But Nickel was no revolutionist. He had a cynical point of view about the tyranny of the world. He wanted not to make noise or raise sound to live a stable life. Once Elwood was arrested and locked up as a prisoner. Severe punishment was given to him to leave his movement about the abolishing of racism. But the inspiration and precious words by Martin Luther King encouraged him as he should be kindhearted against the brutality of white instead of behaving bitterly. Except for this, once Elwood depicted that he has all records of commission service about all abusing cases. He wanted to give it to the inspector. But Turner stopped him to do. After this incident, both were chased by commission service agents, and Elwood was murdered there. After that Tuner pick the name of Elwood and at last, he described all the stories and Elwood movements for eliminating racism. So, the different incidents in the novel have depicted the classic racism that how black was considered inferior. While the Elwood character evaluates that sometimes tough situations made a positive impact on the thinking to make a person optimist. While on the other side Tuner and grandmother was badly impacted by the disastrous behavior of white in American African states. Now today under different revolutionary movements classic racism has been reduced greatly. While modern racism is still available based on culture differentiation. Different implementations are also designed and working to mitigate modern racism to a great extent.
