Gandhian Era (1919-1972) Gandhi ji was born on 2nd of October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. His father was Karamchand Gandhi and his mother was Puthli Bai. In 1883 he was married to Kasturi Gandhi and had 4 sons named Hari Lal, Mani Lal, Ram Das, Dev Das. But Jamna Lal prasad was considered his 5th son. His political teacher was Gopal Krishan Gokhale. The most famous decipher of Gandhi was Madlin Slade, also known as Meera Bain. In 1888 – 1891 - Gandhiji visited London for his further education in law at London. After completing his education in Barrister in 1891 he came back to India and started his practice of Law in Bombay and Rajkot. In 1893 - Gandhiji went to South Africa for the trail of case of Dada Abdullah in the court. In 1894 - Gandhiji founded Natal Congress. In 1901 - Gandhiji participated in Calcutta Session. In 1904 - Gandhiji founded Phoenix Ashram in Durban. In 1910 - Gandhiji founded Tolstoy Farm in Heinsberg. On 9th of January, 1915 – Gandhiji returned from South Africa permanently to India.
