Relationship E.g. Sometimes relationship, sometimes opposition Food for health Sometimes food for health, sometimes food for taste Mobile for communication Sometimes for communication, sometimes for respect, show-off Slide 6 of 15 Natural Acceptance 1. Intact 2. Invariant Uncorrupted by pre-conditioning All Individuals 3. Universal " Time " Space Process of Investigation - Subjective Results Authentic Understanding of Reality " " - OBJECTIVE Education is possible (Absolute) Self Confidence Natural Acceptance about WHAT TO DO (not about how to do) Slide 7 of 15 Natural Acceptance Natural Acceptance does not change with time. It does not depend on the place It does not depend on our beliefs or past conditionings This Natural Acceptance is ‘constantly there’, something we can refer to Natural Acceptance is the same for all of us: it is part and parcel of every human being, it is part of humanness. We can refer Natural Acceptance, access it to know what is right for us. We only have to start referring to it. Each proposal in this course needs to be evaluated on the basis of your Natural Acceptance. Slide 8 of 15 Exploring What is Naturally Acceptable to Me What I am Dialog (desire, thought) Sometimes relationship Sometimes opposition Sometimes Trust Sometimes Mistrust Nurturing Taste & not nurturing … What is Naturally Acceptable to Me (Natural Acceptance) As an Individual In Family In Society In Nature/Existence Relationship Trust in Relationship Nurturing the Body … My Natural Acceptance My Innateness Slide 9 of 15 Scope of this Course Knowing your Natural Acceptance What you really want to be Living in accordance with your Natural Acceptance Living in harmony within Living in harmony with others… with the entire existence Slide 10 of 15 Content of Self-exploration, Self-investigation 1. Desire/Goal (Aim, Objective, Purpose): What is my (human) Desire/Goal? (What do I really want in life, or what is the goal of human life?) 2. Program: What is my (human) program for fulfilling the Goal/ Desire? (How to fulfill it? What is the program to actualize the above? Slide 11 of 15 Process of Self-exploration Whatever is said is a PROPOSAL. The PROPOSAL is to be EXPLORED within oneself: a) On the basis of one’s own Natural Acceptance (The student is NOT expected to ASSUME it to be true) b) On the basis of one’s own VERIFICATION in living This is a natural process of self verification and experiential validation that leads to understanding It is not a process of assuming things (Do’s & Don’ts) as given It is not a process of assuming things written in books It is not a process of assuming things said by others It is not a process of assuming things based on readings from instruments Slide 12 of 15 Process of Self-verification Whatever is said is a Proposal (Do not accept it to be true) Verify it on your own right Proposal 1 Verify on the basis Of your Natural Acceptance 2 Experiental Validation Live according to it 2a Behaviour with Human Beings 2b Work with Rest of Nature Mutual Happiness Mutual Prosperity Which process is Naturally Acceptable to you? A process of self-exploration on your own right, leading to understanding in your self or A process of discourse, do’s & don’ts, in which you assume whatSlide is 13 said of 15 Process of Self-verification Whatever is said is a Proposal Do not accept it just because it is – written in some book – a reading from some instrument – stated by some person Proposal Verify on the basis Of your Natural Acceptance Experiental Validation Live according to it Behaviour with Human Beings Work with the rest of Nature Mutual Happiness Mutual Prosperity Realization Understanding Slide 14 of 15 Summary of Lecture-2 : Self-Exploration – its content and process Whatever is said is a Proposal Do not accept it just because it is – written in some book – a reading from some instrument – stated by some person Proposal Verify on the basis Of your Natural Acceptance Experiental Validation Live according to it Behaviour with Human Beings Work with the rest of Nature Mutual Happiness Mutual Prosperity Realization Understanding Slide 15 of 15
