OBJECTIVES Day 2 Grade Level Grade 11 Learning Area Physical Education Semester First Day 3 Day 4 Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises and remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides. B. Performance Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of fitness and exercise in optimizing one’s health as a habit; as requisite for physical activity assessment performance, and as a career opportunity. The learner leads fitness events with proficiency and confidence resulting in independent pursuit and in influencing others positively. C. Learning Competencies/ Objectives Write the LC code for each Self-assesses health-related fitness (HRF). status, barriers to physical activity assessment participation and one’s diet (PEH11FH-Ig-i-6) A. Content Standards Content is what the lesson is all about. It pertains to the subject matter that the teacher aims to teach in the CG, the content can be tackled in a week or two. LEARNING RESOURCES Health Optimizing Physical Education (H.O.P.E 1) Execute the different component of physical fitness assessment List the materials to be used in different days. Varied sources of materials sustain children’s interest in the lesson and in learning. Ensure that there is a mix of concrete and manipulative materials as well as paper-based materials. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the new lesson These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so that students will learn well. Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the students which you can infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing students with multiple ways to learn new things, practice their learning, question their learning processes, and draw conclusions about what they learned in relation to their life experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each step. The teacher will ask the students about the Physical Activities they during covid pandemic (Lockdown) and the result of the activity. Let the student define the following: 1. What is Health Related Fitness/Skilled Related Fitness? 2. What are the component of HRF/SRF? 3. Give an example of physical activity? The teacher will ask the student to answer the assessment of Module 1 on page 2. The teacher will enumerate the different component of HealthRelated Fitness and Skilled Related Fitness. The teacher discusses the different activities of Health and Skilled Related Fitness. The teacher will show a video clip about the Physical Activities of Health-Related Fitness and Skilled Related Fitness. Guided Question: How to improve your health through physical performance using repeated actions or movement? The teacher will ask the student to compute their Body Mass Index (BMI) Guided Question: What is the essence of doing physical activity? The teacher will ask the student to answer the activity “My Week Ago” on page 20 of Module 1. The teacher will divide the class into groups to execute the different components of physical fitness. E. REMARKS VI. REFLECTION Reflect on your teaching and assess yourself as a teacher. Think about your students’ progress this week. What works? What else needs to be done to help the students learn?
