Page # 17 Verse Job 40:15-24 15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. 16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. Why this allusion?/Significance The car is the Behemoth - all of the car models are named after the Bible and it shows how they include religion in their society - big SUV named Behemoth because it is big, a lot of power, practical… 17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. 18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. 19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. 20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. 21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. 22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. 23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. 24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares. 19 Proverbs 15:3 3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. 18 and 19 Luke 8:4-15 4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: 5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, They are each other´s spies while on the walk together - whatever they do will be known, they are never alone, someone is always watching, also the Angels are workers or God ¨Not all of you will make it through. Some of you will fall on dry ground or thorns. Some of you are shallow-rooted…¨ Just speaking about how people will have 19 some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. different life conditions that make success more or less attainable- those who attain success should help those who have a more difficult path. Genesis 1:28 ¨Blessed be the fruit¨ 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living things that moveth upon the earth. 19 2 Corinthians 1:3 3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 22 Luke 8:13 13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, relieve the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. This verse basically praises God ¨Blessed be the fruit¨ ¨May the Lord open¨ ¨Praise be¨ - they find comfort in religion and God ¨If they think of a kiss, they must then think immediately of the floodlights going on, the rifle shots…¨ They are tempted by the guards, they want to have human interaction but the guards must think about the consequences.
