Many people go through life doing work that they hate or have no talent for.
Why does this happen? What are the consequences of this situation?
It is no secret that one of the most difficult choices in life is the choice of profession. Many people
from all over the world take the wrong decision in this regard.
In my essay, I shall attempt to identify and describe the reasons why this is so.
Which factors can influence the choice of profession that may lead to dissatisfaction later in life?
Education undoubtedly plays a role. In my opinion, the crucial moment occurs when the child
leaves middle school and is expected to choose their specialization.
It is assumed that by this time we are already aware of what kind of specialist we want to
become. But many young people do not have the answer to this question, at this time.
Furthermore, some people are not able to answer this question their entire life.
It is a generally held belief that family plays a role, and it is difficult to disagree with this. Parents
can help direct their children along the right path. As a rule, this requires an analysis of
children's personalities to determine their requirements and then equip them with all that they
need.
Today many people do the job about which they are not enthusiastic. Some people have a talent
for something but are unable to use it due to their circumstances, financial or otherwise. A
fewer number of people have the opportunity to develop their talents as part of their job.
Across the developed world the breakdown of people within each group is likely to be the same.
However, we can change this situation for the better by focusing on young people to help them to
make the right choices.
