Behavior in Soap and Hard Water Materials: soap, detergent, soft water, hard water, graduated cylinder, test tubes, plastic spoon 1. Measure 8 mL of soft water using the graduated cylinder and transfer to test tube A and B. 2. Measure 8 mL of hard water using the graduated cylinder and transfer to test tube C and D. 3. Place 1/2 spoon of soap to each of test tube A and C and 1/2 spoon of detergent to each of test tube B and D. 4. Shake the test tubes until bubbles form, if possible, until the soap or detergents are dissolved. 5. Question: Are there test tubes that has white curds formed? 6.
