ACTIVITY 2 1. Everyone had a bad moment in their lives and all of us wish that we did something in that particular moment and make it better. If you were given a chance to go back and change that particular moment in your life, what would you have done to change it? (INSTRUCTIONS: Explain your answer briefly. Your output must contain 20 sentences) Bad moments help us become a better person. One of the bad moments I have experienced was during the end of my senior high school. Sadly, I was not able to enroll right away after senior high school. I did not know that it was already enrollment time in college. I was not able to apply due to distractions. We were in the time of transferring homes. We were all busy in the sudden change of place. I was distracted and forgot about my college application. It was too late when I realized that the time for enrollment was done. If I could change things, I would have been more vigilant and proactive so as not to miss the chance to enroll. If I was able to enroll, I would have been with my friends in college. If I was able to enroll, I would have been in my second year in college. But I am thankful for that year. I think that everything happens for a reason. I learned the skill of aircon cleaning from my brother. I was able to use this new skill to earn money. That time was sad because I was not able to enroll. But I am glad that I have learned to accept new challenges in my life. Things might not go my way every time, but I am glad that moments like this always teach me to be persistent and still be thankful 2. You’re given chance to talk to your future self, what is your message to your future self? (INSTRUCTIONS: Explain your answer briefly. Your output must contain 20 sentences) I hope to see myself to be successful in the future. I will tell myself that he has done a good job. I will tell my future self that he has made good decisions in life by listening to his family. I will tell myself that he should be thankful to his family for always supporting him. I will remind my future self that it was correct to follow the advice from his family. Because his family has always good intention for him. I will remind my future self that it is by the grace of God that he became successful. Because if you believe, you can achieve. I will tell my future self that I am happy that he was able to be persistent in his goal. I will remind myself that he started knowing that the path is not easy, but he was able to endure it. I will say to my future self that he should give back to his family because he will be happy to help them too. I will commend my future self of how he has matured. I will say to my future self that he should continue to be always humble. Likewise, I will remind him to be thankful. And to always look back to his beginnings. To always be respectful to people especially to those who were with him when he was in trouble or in his bad days. I will remind my future self to learn to be wise and to live an honest life that his parents and family can be proud of. JAMES ANDREW C. JIAO BLK 26
