What is the impact of internet to the society? The internet played a big impact to the society. It has been very helpful and it made our lives easier and much more convenient. With the use of internet communicating with people has been very useful and convenient for we no longer have to wait for days, weeks and months just to get a response especially from our loved ones, friends and family that lives in a distant/remote area. Seeking for a job opportunity is no longer a problem because a lot of those are posted online. People can also work at home by opening a business online and many more. However, internet also has disadvantages. People feel too comfortable and have too much freedom of speech that they keep on posting inappropriate messages and foul words with the intention of harming/hurting someone causing them to feel bad about themselves and later on commit sins that they later on regret doing. Most people get addicted to internet making them lose the connection and bond of having a family, friend and relative. Children are getting overly sensitive when using internet and playing online games all day in their rooms, losing their chance to make fun memories and engage themselves in sports and other recreative activities to make their body strong and healthy. Society is living a digital life, and we rely too much on it. Good luck and God bless! Prepared by: CRISTINA T. NIBALVOS Lecturer Noted: MARICAR T. OBINA Head, Nat. Sci. Department Approved: DR.
