Subj: Rollout expansion
Hi Carter,
I hope you are well! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on expanding the rollout to the entire
restaurant in our previous meeting.
As we discussed, Omar has the desire to expand the rollout for the dining areas as well and
we all from the project team had done our best in the meeting to try to expand the project
goals. However, as you expressed – and I totally agree – exist risks and concerns about
needing to hire more kitchen personnel and maintaining employee and customer satisfaction.
I think Seydou makes a good point: from an operational standpoint, this rollout needs to
happen incrementally.
I would like to ask you to both of us advocate together to defend the project scope
maintenance. Limiting the rollout to the bar area will make it easier to ensure high levels of
customer satisfaction and keep the project within the original scope. A more limited rollout will
also give the kitchen time to scale up its operations and allow us to deal with any problems
that arise more discreetly.
As a visionary, you can help me to ensure our actual scope will provide great results and
achieve Omar's expectations in a near future.
Kind regards,
Peta

Subj: Rollout expansion
Hi Seydou,
I hope you are well! Thanks for helping us on our previous meeting about expanding the
rollout to the entire restaurant in our previous meeting.
As we discussed, Omar has the desire of expand the rollout for the dining areas as well and
we all from the project team had done our best in the meeting to try to expand the project
goals. However, as you advised and with your great knowledge, a bar-focused rollout is less
risky. In addition, we have observed that diners in sections with tablets really do tend to order
more, and it might make sense to let the kitchen scale up their operations more gradually to
meet the increased demand.
We are excited to see the project launch and I believe an expanded rollout would require
pushing back the timeline, paying for more tablets and wiring, and definitely more back of
house hires. Limiting the rollout to the bar area will make it easier to ensure high levels of
customer satisfaction and keep the project within the original scope.
I understand that your experience and consultancy can help us to achieve our company and
project goals.
Kind regards,
Peta
