Students should acquire different types of writing styles namely: - persuasive, - narrative, - explanatory or expository, - descriptive. Let’s look at each of these in turn. What is Persuasive Writing ? - Persuasive writing is any written work that: - Tries to convince the reader of the writer’s opinion. - Often uses personal experience - Always uses logical arguments - Sometimes uses an appeal to emotion - Always uses compelling speech to influence readers.
