What can we do to make college students care about and take the initiative to implement
USR ?
One example of USR in Taiwan is that the principle of NTU carry out divestment from highpolluted and high-carbon-emission industry, while he promised to invest in the companies
ranking 10% on CSR performance. This action set a good example for college students to
follow and encourages them to implement USR.
Why do college students participate in USR ?
Interior motivation
Thinking that it is their responsibility to contribute to the society if they had the ability.
Teachers, students, and residents can know each other through the process of mutual aid,
which raised the willingness to improve the welfare of community.
