ABSTRACT
Agro-Mart is an online web based agricultural E-Market system where farmers can plan,
monitor and analyze the activity of their production system that deals with all aspects of
farmer’s production. It also manages consumer operation and organizes data in one system
and It helps in agricultural services to become even more smarter. Due to short shelf life of
fruits and vegetables and other products, there is a high requirement of cold storages and
warehouses to have a stable price and quantity across the year. With very few and poorly
managed warehouses, the government lacks the main tool for controlling inflation and also
giving a fair price to the harvest. Such uncertainties discourage farming. In current
competitive scenario every business establishment needs quality processes to increase their
efficiency as well as improve their productivity. It is of vital importance that manual, time
consuming & monotonous operations are automated so as to streamline the working of an
organization. Since, the existing system takes more time and manpower for processing. This
E-Market designed in considering the scenario faced by farmers which helps to uplift the
market of their product without the involvement of middlemen or any third party. This
creates in partnership with growers and buyers, it inspire farmers to produce and buyers to
consume fresh goods. Agro-Mart system will make better connection between farmers and
buyers to ensure quality food. Standardize and increase efficiency of Agro-Mart process will
provoke great profit in Agriculture. Thus it will be an aid and assist even a newbie for
agriculture.

The major objective of this website is to provide a wider market and
helping the farmers to not restrict themselves to the local market. This enables farmers and
retailers to expand their business. Even terrace farming will also finds its profit by selling
here. And increasing number of buyers as individuals will find it easier and more convenient
to buy goods. User can get availed of the required information related to their orders and
different products can be made possible through the notification facility provided by the
system.

Scope of the Project
The Advanced techniques and the Automated machines which are leading the world to new
heights are been lagging when it is concerned to Farming, either the lack of awareness of the
advanced facilities or the unavailability leads to poverty in Farming. Even after all the hard
work and the production done by the farmers, in today’s market, the farmers are cheated by
the Agents, leading to poverty. Agro-marketing would make all things automatic which
makes it easier to serve as the best solution to all the problems. This system will serve as a
way for the farmers to sell their products just with some basic knowledge about how to use
the website. The site will guide the farmers in all aspects, including the current market rate of
different products, the total sale and the earned profit for the sold products, access to the new
farming techniques through learning, and a centralized approach to view different
governments agriculture schemes including the compensation schemes for farming.

Outline of the Project Report
This agricultural E-market system gives thrust and direction to
agricultural services that can be further improvement by providing useful information to
planners, farmers and extension workers. The prior motto is to provide technology and
services to the farmers, sellers and farm laborers thus, helping then to expand their business
and making them to know the wide range of market. Hence, improve the present farming
processes and making the customer to acquire knowledge about agricultural sector. It will be
a helping hand to the farmers and farm laborers in improving their lives through the medium
of technology, thereby, improving the Agricultural sector in the Indian economy.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS
2.1 . Comparison of Existing Systems
This “AGRO MART” is very essential for people because its foremost goal is to
provide healthy life. In the existing system the reach is very limited and it’s failed in
establishment and customer attraction. The main reason for this downfall is time
consuming process, erroneous reports and records are not fully secured. Whereas this
Agro mart system will provide proper security, data accuracy and greater efficiency.
Moreover it deals with risk free and user friendly services because it has proper
control of administrator. As it reduces manual work, it takes minimal processing time.
Finally it has an unique feature of media uploadation and general information about
farming loan that given by private and public sector banks.
