Introduction Growing up, the researcher heard many complaints from her father about how the depth of the seeds planted affects their growth. The researcher heard the same complaint from her uncle and became curious so she then decided to ask a few farmers from her community, most of them gave her the same answers. The purpose of this study is for the researcher to find out how the depth of the seed planted affects the rate of its growth. The researcher is also hoping to find out how deep a seed can be planted so that her father, uncle, and the other farmers can stop having this problem. Method of Data Collection Five peas seeds will be planted in five separate cups. Each seed will be planted one centimeter deeper than the other starting at one centimeter deep. A table will be used to record data. Any seed that do not grow will determine that a seed cannot germinate from that depth. The same data will be transferred to a bar graph. Analysis of Data Five pea’s seeds were planted in five plastic cups labeled from A-E. Each seeds were planted one centimeter deeper than the other starting at one centimeter deep. Each seed was watered two time daily using tap water. Discussion of findings After watering and observing the peas seeds for seven days I’ve observed that each seed grew which means that the depth of the seed planted does not affects its growth rate. Conclusion The depth of the seed planted doesn’t affects its growth rate.
