ISM – In-Class Assignment 4:

1. Using different formats of media – text, video & pictures: Adding visuals to convey the information
more effectively and easily understandable form.
2. Prior Practice: Practice the presentation several times to become comfortable with the content and
delivery. Paying attention to the tone of voice, pace, and body language.
3.
Incorporate storytelling: Use storytelling to help make the presentation more engaging and
memorable.
4.
Stick to the topic: make preparation to the topic, focus on the points and avoid overstating; base on
the topic and give the audience a general overview and framework.
5.
Creating wow moments: capture the audience and give them a surprise, unexpected moments grab
an audience’s attention.
6.
Using body language to attract the audience: speak slowly and clearly; intonation is necessary; let
the voice rise and fall to make sound natural; walk around occasionally; make eye contact.

Having a strong conclusion: Leaving the audience with a clear cut, single, strong message at the
end. A strong conclusion will help the audience remember the presenters as well as the important pointers
well.

Extensive research to explain and back the findings: Researching on the most important findings
and backing the research through quality driven evidence is crucial in delivering a presentation. We hope
to research, boil down the research into important findings and execute the presentation effectively

Figuring out technical requirements before the presentation: Reaching the venue earlier, checking
the technical requirements as well as solving any technical glitches before the start of the presentation is an
activity, we intend to perform

Engaging the audience: Keeping the audience engaged through utilizing different forms of media
including but not limited to : Pictures, videos, animations, etc.
