Current life 1. To graduate from the university with honors 2. To start getting into family business 3. To make new friends 4. To improve language skills (make B1 for French, C1 for Hebrew, B2 for German) 5. To get some work experience in marketing outside of the family business 6. To move back to Ukraine 7. To get a driving license An alternative plan 1. To get some external education (if not to graduate from the university I am currently studying at) 2. To start working in marketing in some decent company 3. To stay in Vienna (move to Austria completely) 4. To get a driving license and get a car If money and image didn’t matter 1. To graduate from the university 2. To get some work experience as a graphic designer 3. To take professional makeup courses 4. To try myself in some international internships in some other countries 5. To get some professional musical education 6. To start performing at concerts as a singer 1. My first plan for the life I am currently living I would call: the most realistic and relevant plan. I would say that because this is how a really imagine my life in 5 years, it seems the most real one, since all I am doing now is somehow oriented to the goals I mentioned in the plan. The questions about the life would be following: Are you satisfied with your stay in Ukraine? Does the work you do fulfill you spiritually? Do you feel the balance between study/work and social life? To be honest, I feel that this plan is the most suitable for me and thus, the most preferred. I feel pretty confident in fulfilling it because it looks like I have all the resources and power to do it. It fits my vision for life to the biggest extent and it makes me feel good knowing that I am currently moving in a right direction. 2. My second plan, an alternative one, would receive such a name: if something goes wrong, do this. It sounds logical to me because the point of this plan sound also quite relevant to me, for example, if something changes and I will need to stay in Austria and not come back to Ukraine, I would follow such a plan. I would ask myself these questions: Do you feel like staying in Austria is the right choice for you? Do you feel that you suffice education for the successful career? Would you better work in a family business or some other company? This plan also seems quite relative to me, even though I’d rather stick to the first one. I still feel that have most of the resources to complete the plan, but I do not feel it to be that much comfortable. For example, I would love to receive a full bachelor degree rather than to do some random courses. It was pretty surprising to see that I for the first and the second plan I have a point to work in marketing. It gives me some confidence that I have a right direction about my future career. 3. My third plan would be called: dance like nobody’s watching you. This name came to my mind immediately when I saw the task I needed to do. The plan has the actions I would take if money and image and some social appreciation did not matter. The questions to ask myself are the following: Would you better develop in a creative field (art, music) or business? Could you combine both? Where do you feel comfortable living? Did you follow your childhood dreams? The third plan seems not that realistic in comparison with the first two above. However, I still feel it has a chance for existing. It make an accent on my creative personality and concentrates on arts and music, for example. Some of the points sound very close to my childhood dreams, for example becoming a professional singer and performing at the concerts. But, again, I would say that financial reward and image, social appreciation play an important role for me, that is why I do not feel very much comfortable with it. Even though, I guess that I have all the necessary resources to complete all of the three plans for different kinds of life I imagined for myself, I would try to stick to the first one. It completes the general expectations I have for my life more than the other ones. However, I have noticed that maybe, to some extent, my soul asks for more creativity as I wrote in the third plan. I could try to put more of my hobbies (singing and painting) to my daily life to feel that I completed the creative side also. All in all, as I mentioned before, I will try to move further to complete the first plan of my life for the 5 years, for it gives me the most biggest understanding that I currently taking the right steps and actions to reach all of my goals.
