HANEY LARIDA BSCE-III REFLECTION PAPER Compassion is arguably one of the most important qualities to possess in a world filled with pain and suffering. Compassion is the ability to be aware of the suffering that others may be experiencing, as well as the desire to relieve such suffering in others. Although there is debate over whether compassion requires literal action to alleviate suffering, compassion allows one to understand the pain. The compassion I received this year is that when God let me feel and see his ultimate guide and his unconditional love towards me on how he gives strength to me. Everything is still fresh in my mind and in my heart. July 7 2022 3:00am we are in the hospital because my sister was admitted at this moment. She just suddenly woke up and become eager that we couldn’t understand her at that time, she was very strong and we called a Doctor for help and then she was having difficulties breathing but she didn’t want to put the oxygen mask on her, she got more wild and angry. I tried everything as I quote “ tanang ulog-ulog ako nang gibuhat niya” just to put on that oxygen mask and noted that time I also had my fever and tonsillitis and I didn’t imagine that moment how God made me strong until the moment come it was 10:50 am the Doctor declared that my sister is no longer breathing that was the heavy moment I’ve felt althrough out my life. She was my companion, she is just not a sister on me but she is also my happiness my stress reliever at the same time my bestfriend. She was only 6 years old when she passed away. This moment where I think everything was gone where I found myself in dark corner. I was thinking I would be nothing no more but that was not happen God made me even more stronger. He lifted me up and guided me throughout the days I suffered.
