GLOBALIZATION (DEBATE)
INTRODUCTION
Globalization refers to the interconnection of people with their environment, society and
government. Rapid change happens that can affect decision and action of people. The video explains
details of advantages and disadvantages of globalization. It is indeed an eye opener for students like me,
globalization change quickly the decision and desires of the people but somehow with great effect to
our environment. From this video some people are agree with globalization but some are not due to
personal reasons and they see some evidences that globalization is not good but still there are people in
favor because they see good things happen when globalization arise and hit every country.
BODY PARAGRAPHS
Students are aware that globalization exists in terms of technology used, way to communicate, and
even the forms of education nowadays are influenced by what we called globalization. There are lots of
good things that globalization do. The one speaker said it lessen the poverty, increase and demand more
jobs, technology everywhere when it gives convenience to the people at home and even at work.
Somehow people deals with globalization and forget the disadvantage of it, one speaker said that
globalization has bad effect in our environment due to creation of buildings, factories that releases
pollution, more vehicles that added pollution as well, and turns out into climate change and heated
environment due to globalization. From one speaker it is indeed our decision and action affects the
globalization process, we can act globally and locally. Political concerns also cited in this debate wherein
government can turns globalization into powerful change in a society where everyone lived in, it can
create more jobs, helps poor people by educating them and use globalization to come up with great
solution. More countries around the world becomes great because they deal with globalization
practically, go and adapt with the changes the globalization done with the society moreover with the
people.
CONCLUSION
In this world where we live changes is the only permanent thing, so why do we change for the better
hold on to fast globalization but also think outside the box for what globalization can do to society,
environment and to people. Adaptation is the key for this globalization it can have an advantages and
disadvantages the only thing we can do is to deal with it. As a student is indeed a great opportunity to
watch a video like this so that I can be more aware of what things go on around me until I finished my
studies, what the world can give and what contributions can I make when I finally go on with my life as a
worker of my societyI. Fo me, globalization never stops it is more become evidently so why deal with it
and make use out of it.
