All citizens are treated fairly in our justice system. When the law does not succeed in punishing a criminal, citizens have a duty to do so. A person on trial is considered by the jury to be innocent until proven guilty. Killing, under any circumstance, is always wrong. Good parents set limits for their children. Every individual in society is prejudiced about something. You never really know a person until you walk a mile in their shoes. DIRECTIONS FOR ACTIVITY Step 1: Partner-Work ● You will walk around to review and respond to the statements made on the posters posted in the classroom and in the hallway. ● You will use a sticky note to explain whether you agree or disagree with the statement made.
