We went to the moon in 1969 and here is what proves that. People often say that in the
photographs and videos of Neil Armstrong he leaves very distinct footprints which is one of the
aspects that made people suspicious about the mission to the moon. Why were they
suspicious? They were suspicious because to make a footprint like that there must be moisture
to hold the footprint together and there is no moisture on the moon. First this was tested with
regular sand which proved the fact that the moon would’ve needed moisture to make a footprint
like that but when tested again they used a vacuum like the one on the moon which will give a
more accurate answer to whether the foot print should be as distinct as it is. Also dirt on earth is
very weathered so the particles are soft, so the lunar dust particles are very jagged. In
conclusion people misconcep the fact that lunar dust is very different from sand and also the
gravity is way different on earth than it is on the moon.
The second reason people think that the mission to the moon was a lie is in the pictures of the
mission it looks like the flag is flapping on the moon and since there is no wind on the moon how
could that be? The flag actually isn’t flapping because the astronauts did not bring a normal flag
to the moon. The astronauts did not want the flag to droop down like they do on earth. The flag
had a horizontal rod inside to make it straight so it wouldn’t be like the flags on earth and you
could see it stay up straight. The astronauts made the mistake to not stretch the rod all the way.
Since they didn’t extend it as much as needed the flag still had ripples in it. In the videos only
when the astronauts are trying to set up the flag it moves.
Lastly, another reason the conspiracy theorists think the Apollo mission was fake is that you
can’t see any stars in the photographs. The reason you can’t see any stars is all the camera's
fault and here’s why. The space suits the astronauts were wearing were remarkably reflective
and the suits were intensely white. Imagine a camera that could capture the bright space suits,
the moon's surface, and the stars? Well the camera used in that space mission could not
capture all that. The exposure on the camera the astronauts used was too short to grasp all the
light on the moon. So there were stars in the sky just not the photos. These are some of the
reasons why people don’t believe the moon landing and i proved them wrong
