GUIDELINES AND ANSWER KEY FOR THE TEACHER
1. You can share the following website link with your students and let them try
and solve all the codes. Once they enter the answers correctly on the Google
Form, they will receive a link for the reading list as the final message.

2. I made a short Kahoot quiz about the authors and book names from the
reading list. If you find you can follow this link to do it too. This made
students work harder for the reading list. They wanted to win! I shared the
following reading list with the rest of the class after the Kahoot quiz.

3. Answers are as follows:
Code 1: CABDHBGFCBAE (Students can look at the
keywords to find the right genre.)
Code 2: SIR ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE (The
questions is: Who is the author of The Hound of Baskervilles? )
Code 3: THE LIGHTNING THIEF (clues are: lightning
(from the puzzle), thief (dictionary entry link on the initial picture), Rick
Riordan the author (hidden on the puzzle))

P.S: The genres in the first Code page are done based on keywords
given in the genre definitions to help students. Some books belong to multiple
genres. In those cases, you might ask your students to look for more clues and
try other options as well.
