IT Project Management Dr.Huthaifa Ashqar Mohammad Marabeh 201812109 This paper presents the success, failure, and mitigation factors in agile IT development projects. Through a case study based on five projects developed by students, it was observed that different development approaches such as waterfall, spiral, and agile approach had differences in non-functional activities. An analysis of the efficiency, accuracy, time management, risk analysis, and product quality of the projects was conducted. The results showed that, in the scrum methodology, results were better than those of the waterfall and spiral model, with higher efficiency, product quality, and time management.
