Call to order adlib: To everybody present here today, please gather at the (hall/grounds)
now and find your comfortable places so we can already start with today’s program.
Opening Speech: Dear Teachers and students, good morning and welcome back to
school. After many months of the silent hall and empty classrooms, I am so delighted to
see you all today, our teachers and students, back into the learning environment. I hope
you have enjoyed your time with your family during the COVID-19 holidays and prepared
yourselves well for studying in the new academic year.
To properly start this new academic year, let us prepare and put ourselves in the
presence of the Lord for convocation to be led by Rev. Rosemarie D. Agonias, school
chaplain.
--------------------------------------- CONVOCATION ------------------------------------------National Anthem and March: Please remain standing (if they are called to stand during
the convocation) for the singing of the National Anthem and the Aldersgate College March
to be conducted by Mrs. Patricia G. Ortiz.
--------------------------------------- NATIONAL ANTHEM ------------------------------------------Welcome Address and Presentation: At this juncture, may I now call on Mrs. Marissa J.
Taguinod, our dear high school principal, for her welcome address and the presentation
of the high school faculty. Help me welcome her with a warm round of applause!
-------------------------- WELCOME ADDRESS AND PRESENTATION -----------------------Thank you adlib: Thank you very much, ma’am, for that very warm welcome. Thank you
also for giving us the opportunity to be one with this institution. To our dear students,
please don’t hesitate to approach us whenever you need our help. We shall be your
partners as you grow and be better each day.
Presentation of Scholars: At this point, we also recognize the entrance scholars in the
high school department. Thus, may I now call Rev. Jaime R. Bolusan, Chief Guidance
Counselor, for the presentation of entrance scholars.
-------------------------- PRESENTATION -----------------------Thank you adlib: Thank you very much, Rev. Jaime Bolusan; and to our entrance
scholars, may you continue to do well in your studies.
Health Protocols: It really is quite awesome to see shining eyes and faces glancing
over the top of masks, and you all seem ready and back to the track full of
enthusiasm and energy to be on your toes again. However, I should remind you
that we still have protocols and routines to become familiar with, and we all have
to be confident in being able to begin the comeback positively. In the coming times,
there will be some communication protocols, with masks, physical distancing, and
regular handwashing. Still, we believe that we have things to face in place to be
successful with school re-entry. To achieve this, may I now call on Mr. Omar B.
Capayan, Social Studies and TLE Department head and Prefect of Discipline, to
give us clearer and more detailed reminders on the health protocols that must be
followed. Sir?

and teachers, and as one family we will make our school a safe, secure, and
healthy place for all of us.
That ends the first part of our opening program. For the second part of our program,
we shall be entertained and satisfied with the performances of your very own teachers!

PART II
MAPEH: The first group to entertain us with their dancing skills are the faculty members
from the MAPEH Department. Let’s give them a boost with a round of applause!

LANGUAGES: Siyempre, hindi din naman magpapatalo ang languages department with
a Parody of the act, New Yorker in Tondo! Give your teachers some love with your
resounding cheers!

Social Sciences and TLE: At this point, let us again be entertained with a dance from the
Social Sciences and TLE department! A warm round of applause!

Science and Math: Last but not least, let us be entertained with another dance from our
teachers in the science and mathematics department! How about a clap raised to 100?

Bigyan naman natin ng masigabong palakpan ang ating mga teachers! Hindi lang
sa loob ng classroom nagpapakitang gilas, kundi pati din sa sayawan at aktingan!
PART III
For the last part of our program, we shall do it inside the classrooms. This will be done
per class by the class advisers. Thus, in a while, students must proceed to their assigned
classrooms with their class advisers.
